INSPECTION REPORT
Dear Building Official:
An inspection was conducted at 3605 Sloan Road, Fort Pierce, Florida, on December 10, 2017.
Improvements were conducted for a roof replacement without all the appropriate municipal inspections for
the work conducted.
During the inspection, representative areas of the roof were opened to observe construction practices
regarding the roofing installation methodology,since this was not discernable from a non-destructive,visual
confirmation. The representative area was observed for compliance with the permit, product approvals
(NOA# 12-1127.03), and 2014 Florida Building Code(FBC).
The subject roof was examined for compliance with the FBC, including the following inspections:
• Sheathing
• Dry-In/Roof Metal
• In Progress
• Roof Final
All areas sampled had appropriate nailing schedule, exposure and overlap distances on each course
and ridge. All penetrations were appropriately protected and sealed. The drip edge was lapped more
than the required distance. By these observations, and in my engineering opinion, the above referenced
inspections are PASSED.
Please note that the observations of the residence are representative of the conditions existing at the time of
the inspection,and can only be considered valid at that time. Photographs are attached for reference.
