Reg.No. 29945 March 12, 2019 1114 Nettles Blvd. Jensen Beach,FL 1 of 3 METAL ROOFING ATTACHMENT REQUIREMENTS: Metal roofing to be attached with corrosion resistant Hex-Head wood screws#9 x 1 %" minimum with weather sealing washers(minimum 3/16"penetration through deck). Fasteners shall be placed through the panel ribs at 10.5"on center across panel width and spacing along the, ribs as follows: ZONE 1 (Field):FASTENER SPACING= 10" O.C. ZONE 2 (Perimeter/Ridge):FASTENER SPACING= 10"O.C. ZONE 3 (Corners): FASTENER SPACING= 10" O.C. Design uplift Pressure for attachment as per above: Product Design Pressure: Zones 1, 2 & 3: -168.5PSF Therefore O.K. UNDERLAYMENT: Underlayment shall be Tri-Built Roofing Products FL# 16048.1 "Tri-Built S/A HT TU". While priming is optional, TRI-BUILT recommends priming the deck if the final roof cover is not slated for installation within 24 hours. Apply sheet parallel to the roof edge. Roll out approximately 10 ft of membrane and peel back the first 3 ft of release film. Adhere the exposed part to the substrate and unroll the remaining membrane as far as possible. Once the entire length of membrane is in place,peel-off the release film diagonally while holding the membrane tight. Firmly roll the membrane into place to achieve a bond.Horizontal seams should be minimum 3-inches, configured to shed water. Vertical seams should be 6inches and staggered not less than 2-ft from vertical seams in the course below. All over-granule end- laps shall be sealed using either heat-welding or hot air welding techniques. For Valleys and Ridges: Cut underlayment into 4 to 6 foot lengths. Peel the release paper and center sheet over valley or ridge. Drape and press sheet into place,working from the center of the valley or ridge in each direction. For valleys, apply the sheet starting at the lowest point and work upward. DECK INSTALLATION: Re-nail all plywood sheathing(15/32"thick minimum) with 8D ring-shank nails at 4" O.C. perimeter and 6" O.C. field for all zones. All work to be in compliance with product approval (FL# 17022.2), (FL# 16048.1), manufacturer's specifications, and the Florida Building Code 2017. Paul Welch Inc. Paul Welch P.E.
