5.4.1 M-Owers Cornu asphalt shingles noted herein are Classified in accordance with FBC Tables 1507.2.71
and R905.2.6.1 to ASTM D3161,Class F and/or ASTM D7158,Class ii,indicating the shingles are able
for use in all wind zones up to V = 150 mph (V„i = 194 mph). Refer to Section 6 for inti latiori
requirements to meet this wind rating.

5.42 All Owens Corning hip & ridge shales, Starter Strip Shingle and Starter Strip Plus noted herein are •
. Classiged in accordance with FBC Tables 1507.2.7.1 and R90526.1 to ASTM D3161,Class F,inclicating the
shingles are acceptable for use inall wind zones up to Vmd=150 mph(V =194 mph). Refer to Section 6 for
hwiallation requirements to meet this wind rating. -
5.43 Classification by ASTM D7158 applies to expire category B or C,as defined in FBC 1609.4.3,and a meari
roof height of 60 feet or less. Calculations by a qualified design professional are required for conclifions
. outside these limitations. Contact the shingle manufacturer for data specific to each shingle.
5.4.4 Refer to Owens Corning published•information on wind resistance and installation imitations.
