Please be aware that Section 11.03.04 of the St. Lucie
Development Code provides that no further division of

Dear Mrs. Urso:
Per our telephone conversation the other day, in reference to
moving a home or building on my lot, I was advised that possibly I
had an illegal lot split.
I originally purchased the lot back in May, 1987 and applied for a
building permit in Aug.1987 on Parcel 1 of the lot, with a new Tax
ID issued at'that time. Then in 1995 I sold that home, Tax ID
3402-602-0207-000/2. Now Iwish to build on Parcel 2 Tax ID
3402-602-0208-000/9. See attached information.
Since these proceedings to split were issued in 1987, aren't these
parcels grandfa~hered in before 1990o Also, before I sold my home
I talked wit~~ several individuals at the County about the
remaining lot and was never advised there could be any problem°
Please advise as to how, or if, I need to proceed any further with
this matter° Thank you for your time.

In response to your letter received February 20, 1996, the
referenced property was under one ownership until legally split
through an ownership change on June 22, 1995. Therefore, a lot
split is required under Section 11.03.04 of the St. Lucie County
Land Development Code, the effective date for same was August 1,
1990, copy enclosed.
A lot split application was sent to you. If you have any questions
regarding it, please feel free to call me.
