St. Lucie County Requirements for Mobile Food Vendors CIass U This information sheet is presented as an aid to assist you in obtaining a zoning clearance before securing an occupational license. If you have any questions,you are welcome to ask our staff in the St.Lucie County Building&Zoning Department. In order to obtain a zoning compliance,please complete the application and all.other forms included. Mobile Food Vendors are permitted in the commercial General(CG),Industrial Light(IL),Industrial-Heavy (UP,and Industrial Extraction(IX)-zoning districts. The following information is necessary when applying for a zoning compliance: 1. Written permission from the property owner to have a mobile food unit on the subject property. 2. A plot plan of the property with dimensions. Include the location of the mobile food unit as well as- any other structures on the property. a. Setbacks to the mobile food units from the property lines. Setbacks must comply with the zoning district in which the unit is located. Parking and landscaping must comply with the St.Lucie County Land Development Code. Parking is based on 5 spaces per I. 000 square feet of floor area. (The landscape strip abutting a right-of-way must be 15' for every 30 linear feet Other landscaping may be required per section 7.09.04 of the St.Lucie County Land Development Code.) 3. A building permit application and plans for a.sign,if applicable... a. .Generally,one ground sign may be permitted per parcel subject to compliance of section 9.01.01F of the St.Lucie County Land Development Code.
