CHOEBE II MOTEL
MAY 13, 1986
This Addendum hereby becomes a part of the Plans and Specifications and
shall be included in the Base Bid as part of the Contract Documents.
(Items #1 through #13 respond to comments by the St. Lucie County - Fort Pierce
Fire Prevention Bureau - comments enclosed as Enclosure #1.)_
ITEM #1 KITCHEN EQUIPMENJ
There are no kitchens equipped with appliances capable of producing grease
laden vapors. -
ITEM #2 FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
Provide and install 40 BC portable fire extinguishers at each kitchen.
ITEM #3 INTERIOR DOORS
All doors that serve Meeting Room #101 shall swing out in the direction of
travel.
ITEM #4 RATED DOORS
Doors from Laundry to Office, Maintenance and Toilet shall be 1-j-hour fire -
rated.
ITEM #5 SPRINKLERS
The Laundry Room and Laundry Chute shall be protected with automatic sprinklers.
See Enclosure #2 to this Change Order. Hand hose shall be provided by the Owner.
ITEM #6 LAUNDRY CHUTE
Laundry Chute shall meet the requirements of NFPA #82, 4-5.1.1.
ITEM #7 ATTIC ACCESS
Attic Access shall be installed for each hidden space.
ITEM #8 DRAFTSTOP WALLS
Draftstop walls in attic shall be labeled as noted on Sheets A-17 Of 18 and
A-18-, of 18. .1

Attic Access Doors ahll be 1-hour rated assembly in 1-hour rated ceiling.
ITEM #10 ELECTRICAL OUTLETS
Electrical outlets shall be installed in accordance with detail B-10 on
Sheet A-10 of 18.
ITEM #11 SMOKE DETECTORS
Smoke Detectors as shown meet State of Florida Code and the Fire Prevention
Bureau has removed this item from their.list.
ITEM #12 SHEET E-1 - FIRE ALARM
See enclosed Drawing E-1 revised 05/01/86 for additional fire alarm pull
stations and horns.
ITEM #13 POOL EQUIPMENT BUILDING
Electrical at Pool Equipment Building shall conform with NFPA #7, 300-6,
110-3 (a) and (b) and 680 (Pool Rooms).
ITEM #14 PIPING
Add 1/2" cold water and 2" waster line up to second floor vending machine
area. (See Enclosure #3.)
ITEM #15 SB LIGHT FIXTURES
Add two (2) type SB light fixtures at pool (See Enclosure #4.)
ITEM #16 SHEET E-1 - FIXTURES
See enclosed Drawing E-1 revised 05/01/86 for the deletion of walkway and
lights at the east end of the building and the addition of flow and tamper
switch at laundry.
ITEM #17 SHEET E-2
See enclosed Drawing E-2 revised 05/01/86 for the deletion of walkway and
lights at the south end of the building and the revision of the north walk-
way lighting.
