To whom this may concern:
Please know I personally completed the wind load analysis for the(1)Eastern Architectural Systems,Series
"FWI 1000"Aluminum Impact Horizontal Sliding Window with the FL# 14610.2 installed into the above
residence.
Using the ASCE?-10.-The following parameters were used:
Top of Highest wind or door height is 100 feet;
Exposure D;Wind speed 170 mph; Enclosed Structure,Wind Zone 4;
When taking into account the external and intemal pressure coefficients and adjustments per the ASCE7-10,the
resulting and governing applied wind pressure for the slider window is+85.8 psf/-91.5 psf.
The tapcons were spaced with edge distances and embedment depths per the respective valid product approval
for the new window installed,the lowest governing allowable load listed from these is+100.0 psf/-120.Opsf,
which exceeds the applied loads in this application,and is acceptable to my office. -
