Hello David:
Thanks for speaking with me on Friday. We met with Mark Gregory on Saturday and he has a game
g rY Y
plan to move forward.
I believe he sent you an email on Monday, just wondering if you have reviewed? (I did not get a copy
so not sure what it says.)
Our conversation on Saturday was as follows:
We indicated that he must obtain proper inspection approvals and meet whatever requirements that
the county requires. That we want a clean final inspection to close out the permit.
He has indicated that if the product approval information is not sufficient for the county and they want
an interim inspection he is willing pull up panels at random for inspection as many as the county
wants to see.
If county is not in agreement to the product approvals and the above method for an interim inspection
than he will strip the roof to the plywood and re-install roof but needs to know ASAP which way to go
so he can order the materials and thinks he could have a crew (not same as previous) on site a week
from Tuesday or so to get it done hopefully within 5 business days (no weekend work).
He has agreed to provide us with a warranty from his company that is transferrable for all
workmanship for 5 years. We are o.k. with that if the metal company will issue warranty to us, which
he says he has in hand.
Please let me know the status.
Thanks

Hey David
I understand that you spoke with our roofing contractor today regarding what it will take to get a
final inspection.
i
I would like to know how that conversation went.
I am expecting them to be on-site tomorrow to do some punch list items. I would like to be
prepared for anything that may be said.
Today I received an email from Doug Harvey and if I read it correctly there are 2 primary issues
listed below that need to be resolved to get a final inspection. Let me know if I am correct?
1. Manufacturer approval/warranty from peel n stick manufacturer allowing peel n stick to be
installed over existing shingles?
2. Re-doing drip edge since it is face nailed? (I am not real sure what this means)
It appears to me that#2 could be corrected, but what happens if#1 can not be obtained?
By the way my last name is now Hawley previously it was Favorite. Yes, I was married to
Jimmy Favorite and many years ago we were neighbors in apartments on Fra-Mar.
If you could please reply and also give me a call. I will be in office at 772-462-2346 till 4pm.
After that I will be availed via cell at 772-359-1218.
Thanks
Barbara Lynn Hawley
