SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT (DRAINAGE',)
Excess storm water runoff gen; this aroject till be

regulations of St. Lucie Cour, Souta Florida Water
Management District (SFWMD). T system constructed
to collect and convey storrn3 the detention system
will be designed and construct(- CI; t>ecifications of the
St. Lucie County Public Wor =❑x nt. The detention
areas and outfall systens will '. �i and constructed in
accordance with the SFWMD puh -_, ,titled, "Management
and Storage of Surface Waters", dated June 1987.
Generally, the SFWMD Manual rt, design of the storm
water management to control. for the 25-Year
frequency storm event. The st .ayo t shown depicts
the general character of the s,;ar;d is subject to some
refinement during final design. Final design and details
will be submitted on construction drawings.
PAVEMENT CONSTRUCTION
The pavement structure, method of construct on and testing
requirements for all on -site work and work an the right-of-
way of Peters Road shall conform to the "Standard
Specifications for Public Works Construct on in St. Lucie
County, Florida" adopted May 17gg 1978, Res, o. 78-49. All
work performed within the r9;ght-of.-way of Okeechobee Road
(State Road 70) shall be in accordance w th the Florida
Department of Transportation Construction specifications and
permit requirements.
WASTEWATER COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL
The wastewater collection and tralismissioi system shall
consist of gravity lines and manholes as required by the Fort
Pierce Utilities Authority (-PUA). Disposal of the
wastewater from the site shall be 'oy a lift station and force
main which will be r_onstrucbe�9 frcxn the site along the
proposed entrance road and will- be connecte3 to an existing
force main owned and operated b/ the FPUA which lies in the
right-of-way of Okeechobee Road. All design and construction
for the wastewater collection systen shall be in accordance
with FPUA criteria and specifications.
WATER SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION
Potable water to serve this project shall ho obtained from
the FPUA by connection to an existing 12" di mdter water main
lying in the right-of-way of Okeechobee Road north of the
existing pavement and extending a water main from that point
to the project site. The elveloper shall dxtend the FPUA
water main throughout the prolJct as requirec by the FPUA and
as required for fire protection. Alldesign aiio construction
shall be in accordance with FPUA and specifi a�ions,

LANDSCAPE NCTES
1. The Landscape Co tractor shall be responsible for all materials and all work
as called for on the landscape pla s. The list of all plant quantities
accompanying the plans shall be used as a guide only, If a variation occurs
between the plant list and the plan, the plan shall control.
2. All plait beds a d all tree watering basins shall be top -dressed with three
inches (3") of hredded cypress bar mulch (American wood products type "B"
or equal).
3. No trees are to I>e planted closer than three feet (3) from edge of pavement
at parking bays to allow adequate tree trunk protecton from overhang.
4. All areas not pa ed or otherwise lam soaped shall besodded.
5. Fine grade any areas to be sod,led in order o eliminate all bumps,
depressions, sticks, stones and othe. debris. The Contractor shall ensure
that the new scxl be laid neatly aid at the properlevel when abutting the
edge of all paving and shrub areas.
6. Sodding and/or seeding of retention/ etention areas re not included in the
Landscape Contract. See Civil Engineering Plans.
7. An automatic it igation system will be designed ad installed to provide
complete covera# of all plant material.

condition of all. trees and shall bE legally liable or any damage caused by
