Water and Wastewater
Individual wells for water supply and septic tanks for wastewater treatment
shall be utilized for each 5-acre lot in -this project. The use of individual wells
and septic tanks for single-family residential homes for these 5-acre lots is per-
mittable, and the applicable regulations of the St. Lucie County Health Department
can, and will, be met.
Drainage
A surface water management system meeting the requirements of the South Florida
Water Management District (SFWMD) shall be designed and constructed for this pro-
ject. The drainage concept embraces the use of an interconnected system of broad,
shallow swales to be constructed along the back lines of all lots. Where necessary,
sidelot swales will be constructed to direct surface water runoff to these backlot
swales. These backlot swales shall serve as stormwater detention areas, con-
trolled by one or more outfall structures located at the easterly limits of the
project. These structures shall limit the discharge of project water to the outfall
ditch, which has been reserved for this land and runs southerly along the west
side of Rangeline Road for a distance of 2 miles for ultimate discharge to C-23
of the SFWMD.
Transportation Improvements
Transportation improvements include:
i. Two (2) twenty -foot wide paved streets approximately 5,000 feet
long each, connected with Rangeline Road and terminating in a
cul-de-sac. These streets will be constructed to St. Lucie
County specifications, and will provide access to each and
every lot in the subdivision;
2. A stabilized and grassed airstrip 100 feet wide and 4,000 feet
long; and
