GENERAL NOTES:
1. VERTICAL CLEARANCE - FAR PART 77
THE PLAN INDICATES THE ELEVATIONS ABOVE SEA LEVEL OF THE IMAGINARY SURFACES DEFINED IN
PART 77 OF THE FEDERAL AVIATION REGULATIONS. CONSTRUCTION CRANES AND OTHER EQUIPMENT
PENETRATING THESE SURFACES ARE CONSIDERED OBSTRUCTIONS TO AIR NAVIGATION. PRIOR TO
SUCH EQUIPMENT USE, FAA NOTIFICATIONS, APPROVALS AND SPECIAL OPERATING CONDITIONS MUST

2• RUNWAY AND TAXIWAY CLEARANCES
THE FOLLOWING ARE GUIDELINES FOR CLEARANCES TO BE. MAINTAINED WHILE WORKING NEAR ACTIVE
RUNWAYS AND TAXIWAYS. THE PRESENCE OF EQUIPMENT OR OPEN EXCAVATION IN EXCESS OF 3" DEEP
WITHIN THESE AREAS WILL REQUIRE CLOSING THE OPERATIONAL AREA OR SPECIAL OPERATING PROCEDURES.
CONSTRUCTION WITHIN THIS AREAS SHALL BE COORDINAT__D IN ADVANCE, ON A CASE -BY -CASE BASIS.

CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT SHALL BE CONSTRAINED IN A MANNER TO PREVENT MOVEMENT FROM AIRCRAFT
BLAST OR WIND. MATERIALS SHOULD NOT BE STORED NEAR AIRCRAFT TURNING AREAS OR MOVEMENT AREAS,
5. DEBRIS DIRT ETC ON RUNWAYS TAXIWAYS OR RAMPS
ACTIVE RUNWAYS, TAXIWAYS AND RAMPS SHALL BE KEPT FREE OF ALL DEBRIS, DIRT OR ANY SUCH LOOSE
MATERIALS AT ALL TIMES. MATERIAL TRACKED ONTO THESE AREAS WILL BE REMOVED INMEDIATELY. THE
CONTRACTOR MUST KEEP A POWER BROOM WITH OPERATOR ON DUTY DURING ALL HAULING OPERATIONS
ACROSS PAVEMENT IN USE BY AIRCRAFT. CONTINUOUS INSPECTIONS WILL BE HELD. WATERING MAY BE
REQUIRED TO CONTROL' DUST AS REQUIRED BY FAA AND THE AUTHORITY.
6. MOTORIZED VEHICLES.
A. VEHICLES (INCLUDING ALL CARS, TRUCKS, CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT, ETC.) ARE FORBIDDEN TO PENETRATE
AIRCRAFT MOVEMENT AREAS OR RUNWAY APPROACH AREAS UNLESS THEY HAVE TWO-WAY VHF RADIO

CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE ACTIVITIES WITH LOCAL AIRPORT PERSONNEL ON A DAILY BASIS.
8. SEE SAFETY DURING CONSTRUCTION PLANS IN SPECIFICATIONS.
9. CONTRACTOR STAGING AREA
CONTRACTOR STAGING AREA IS AS SHOWN OR AS APPROVED BY THE AIRPORT MANAGER. SECURITY
SHALL BE PROVIDED BY THE CONTRACTOR AT HIS OWN OPTION. THE OWNER ASSUMES NO
RESPONSABILITY FOR SECURITY. THIS AREA SHALL BE UTILIZED FOR DAILY CONTRACTOR EQUIPMENT
PARKING AND MATERIAL STORAGE. PENETRATION OF THE PART 77 SURFACE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED
WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL. UPON COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT, THE AREA SHALL BE SODDED,
AND RESTORED TO A SMOOTH GRADED CONDITION ACCEPTABLE TO THE ENGINEER. THERE SHALL BE
NO SEPARATE MEASUREMENT OR PAYMENT FOR THIS ITEM.
10. NON -MOVEMENT AREA
NON -MOVEMENT AREAS ARE CONTROLLED BY THE ATCT.'CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY ATCT
PRIOR TO ANY MOVEMENT WITHIN NON -MOVEMENT AREAS SUCH AS RUNWAY/TAXIWAY SAFETY AREAS.
VIOLATORS WILL BE CHARGED A $10,000 FINE BY THE FAA FOR EACH INCURSION.

1. THE PURPOSE OF THIS CONTRACT IS TO REHABILITATE THE EXISTING PAVEMENT ON RUNWAY 14-32,
THIS WORK INCLUDES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: MILLING EXISTING SURFACE, REPAIR/FILL EXISTING CRACKS,
CONSTRUCT A MINIMUM 2" BITUMINOUS OVERLAY, STRIPING AND PLACING A SEALCOAT ON EXISTING
SECTION OF TAXIWAY "A
2: THE FOLLOWING GENERAL REQUIREMENTS SHALL BE ADHERED TO:
A. WORK WITHIN 200' OF A RUNWAY "CENTERLINE WILL REQUIRE ITS CLOSURE
B. WORK WITHIN 100' OF A TAXIWAY CENTERLINE WILL REQUIRE ITS CLOSURE.
C. WHEN A RUNWAY IS IN USE ACCESS MUST BE PROVIDED TO BOTH ENDS OF THE RUNWAY
3. CONTRACTOR SHALL USE ROUTES AS SHOWN ON THESE PLANS OR AS APPROVED IN ADVANCE
FOR TRANSIT BETWEEN WORK SITES, STOCKPILES, AND ' IAGING AREAS. DO NOT CROSS
RUNWAYS AND TAXIWAYS WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE FAA CONTROL TOWER.
4. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ESCORT VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH TWO-WAY VHF RADIOS
APPROVED BY THE AUTHORITY. THE VEHICLES SHALL BE PERMANENTLY MARKED WITH COMPANY
NAME ON BOTH SIDES AND SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR NOTIFYING THE AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL
TOWER PRIOR TO ESCORTING ALL CONTRACTOR VEHICLES ACROSS TAXIWAYS AND RUNWAYS.
ALL CONSTRUCTION TRAFFIC MUST BE ESCORTED.
5. SEE SAFETY PLAN FOR RADIO REQUIREMENTS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
6. CONTRACTOR MAY LEAVE CONSTRUCTION VEHICLES WITHIN THE CONSTRUCTION AREA OVERNIGHT
PROVIDED THEY MEET THE CRITERIA WITHIN THE SAFETY DURING CONSTRUCTION PLAN (ATTACHMENT A).
7. CONTRACTOR PARKING AND MATERIAL STORAGE IS TO BE ESTABLISHED AS SHOWN ON THE SAFETY PLAtJ.
SECURITY SHALL BE PROVIDED BY THE CONTRACTOR AT HIS OWN OPTION. THE OWNER ASSUMES
NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR SECURITY. THIS AREA SHALL BE UTILIZED FOR DAILY CONTRACTOR EMPLOYEE
PARKING AND MATERIAL STORAGE. PENETRATION OF THE PART 77 SURFACE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED
WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE AIRPORT
9. MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC DEVICES SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
• A BARRICADE LINE (TYPE III BARRICADES SHALL BE LOCATED AT ALL CLOSED AREAS.
THE LINES SHALL BE PLACED PER NOTE 3. BARRICADES SHALL BE SPACED AT 20'INTERVALS
AND SECURED WITH SAND BAGS.
• LIGHTED RUNWAY CLOSURE CROSSES SHALL BE USED DURING ALL RUNWAY CLOSURES.
• CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL MOT DEVICES 24/7 FOR THE
DURATION OF THE PROJECT.
10. PAYMENT FOR ALL MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC/PHASING DEVICES SHALL BE INCLUDED IN PAY ITEM
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC.
OPERATING CONDITIONS
WORK HOURS WILL BE BETWEEN 7 AM - 5 PM, MONDAY - FRIDAY. RUNWAY 14-32 SHALL BE CLOSED AND
MOT DEVICES SHALL REMAIN IN PLACE FOR THE DURATION OF THE CONTRACT,
CONSTRUCTION WITHIN 200 FEET OF RUNWAY 9-27 SHALL BE COMPLETE WITHIN 24 HOURS

GENERAL NOTES
1. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLETE ALL ITEMS ON THE FOLLOWING ELECTRICAL
SHEETS:
A. PROVIDE AND INSTALL NEW TAXIWAY/RUNWAY EDGE LIGHTS FOR TAXIWAY A
MODIFICATIONS FOR A COMPLETE WORKING SYSTEM IN PLACE AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
B. REMOVE EXISTING TAXIWAY EDGE LIGHTS FOR TAXIWAY A MODIFICATIONS FOR A
COMPLETE WORKING SYSTEM IN PLACE AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL MATERIALS AND LABOR TO INSTALL THE ELECTRICAL
SYSTEMS AS INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS. ITEMS NOT SHOWN BUT OBVIOUSLY NECESSARY
FOR COMPLETION OF THE WORK SHALL BE INCLUDED.
3. THE INSTALLATION SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, LOCAL
CODES, CITY CODES, FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION STANDARDS, AND ALL ST. LUCIE COUNTY
BUILDING CODES.
4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN ALL NECESSARY PERMITS, INSPECTIONS, AND APPROVALS.
5. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE HIS WORK WITH THE SITE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER,
ST. LUCIE COUNTY AVIATION DEPARTMENT AND FAA.
6. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL, BEFORE SUBMITTING HIS BID VISIT THE SITE OF THE PROJECT AND
BECOME FAMILIAR WITH THE EXISTING CONDITIONS. NO ALLOWANCE WILL BE MADE FOR
EXISTING CONDITIONS OR FAILURE OF THE CONTRACTOR TO OBSERVE THEM.
7. IT IS THE CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY TO COORDINATE BEFORE BIDDING WITH ALL LOCAL
UTILITIES INCLUDING THE POWER, TELEPHONE, FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION, AND TO
MEET ALL OF THEIR INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS. ALL LABOR, EQUIPMENT OR MATERIALS
NECESSARY TO MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS IS TO BE INCLUDED IN THE BID. THE CONTRACTOR
SHALL OBTAIN, DELIVER AND INSTALL ALL CONDUITS, PULLBOXES AND EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
BY THE UTILITIES TO THEIR SPECIFICATIONS.
8. ELECTRICAL REPRESENTATIVE IS AS FOLLOWS:

9. GROUNDING SHALL BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPEC SECTION L-108. THE GROUNDING
SYSTEM SHALL NOT EXCEED 10 OHMS. THE EARTH SHALL BE DRY FOR 48 HOURS PRIOR TO
TESTING. ADDITIONAL GROUNDING TO MEET THIS REQUIREMENT SHALL BE INSTALLED AT NO
EXTRA COST, GROUNDING AND BONDING SHALL NOT BE PAINTED.
10. PROVIDE AN EQUIPMENT GROUND CONDUCTOR SIZED PER NEC AND FAA SPEC. L-108 SECTION SHALL BE
BE PULLED IN ALL ELECTRICAL CONDUITS, POWER AND CONTROL, WHETHER OR NOT INDICATED ON PLANS.
11. ALL EQUIPMENT SHALL BE NEW AND UNUSED U.L. LISTED AND FAA APPROVED.
12. SHOP DRAWINGS SHALL BE SUBMITTED FOR THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT:
LIGHTING ASSEMBLIES, SPLICE KITS, PULL BOXES, CONDUITS, CABLE,
GROUND RODS, BASE CANS, GUIDANCE SIGN BASE.
13. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE TO TEST ALL SYSTEMS AND REPAIR OR REPLACE ALL
DEFECTIVE WORK TO THE SATISFICATION OF THE ENGINEER AND OWNER.
14. ALL EQUIPMENT FURNISHED AND INSTALLED BY THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE GUARANTEED
AGAINST DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR FROM DATE
OF ACCEPTANCE.
15. COORDINATE ALL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT LOCATIONS AND POWER REQUIREMENTS AND VERIFY
ALL OBSTRUCTIONS WITH ALL SUBCONTRACTORS AND EQUIPMENT SUPPLIERS PRIOR TO ANY
INSTALLATION.
16. THE DRAWINGS ARE NOT INTENDED TO SHOW THE EXACT LOCATION OF CONDUIT RUNS. THESE
ARE TO BE COORDINATED WITH OTHER TRADES SO THAT CONFLICTS ARE AVOIDED PRIOR TO
INSTALLATIONS.
17. AIRFIELD CONDUCTORS SHALL BE FAA APPROVED 5KV L-824 CABLE. AIRFIELD VAULT AND GROUND
CONDUCTORS SHALL BE 600V, XHHW BELOW FINISHED GRADE AND WET LOCATIONS.
18. SCHEDULE 40 PVC SHALL BE USED UNDERGROUND. ALL ABOVE GRADE EXTERIOR CONDUITS SHALL BE
SCHEDULE 80 PVC. ALL VAULT INTERIOR CONDUITS SHALL BE EMT. MINIMUM CONDUIT SIZE SHALL BE 3/4"
19. FLEXIBLE CONDUITS SHALL BE USED TO TERMINATE ALL REGULATORS AND OTHER VIBRATING
EQUIPMENT AND SHALL BE BETWEEN 18" AND 3' IN LENGTH.
20. TYPEWRITTEN PANEL SCHEDULES SHALL BE INSTALLED IN EACH PANELBOARD, AND TERMINAL

OR PULL BOXES AS INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS. BENDS AND OFFSETS SHALL BE
AVOIDED WHERE POSSIBLE.
25. ALL CONDUITS PENETRATING RATED FIRE WALLS OR RATED FIRE FLOORS SHALL BE U.L.
APPROVED DEVICES TO MAINTAIN THE FIRE RATING OF THE FLOOR OR WALL PENETRATED.
26. BALANCE ALL LOADS AT END OF PROJECT WITH ALL ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ON.

GENERAL INSTALLATION NOTES:
1. ALL THE EXISTING INFORMATION, UTILITIES, CABLES, DUCTS, MANHOLES, FIXTURES,
ETC. IS BASED ON THE "AS-BUILTS", "RECORD" DRAWINGS, AND SITE VISITS BY
THE ENGINEER. THE LOCATIONS SHOWN ON THE PLANS HAVE BEEN DETERMINED
BY AS -BUILT DRAWINGS AND ARE NOT INTENDED TO PROVIDE EXACT LOCATIONS,
TYPE OF COMPONENT NOR MANNER OF CONSTRUCTION AND SHOULD NOT BE
SCALED FROM DRAWING. THE LOCATION OF MANHOLES, PULL BOXES, JUNCTION
BOXES, ETC. ALONG WITH THE ROUTE(S) (AND IDENTIFICATION) FOR CIRCUITS
SHOWN ON THE PLANS HAVE BEEN DETERMINED FROM AS -BUILT DRAWINGS
PROVIDED BY ST. LUCIE COUNTY AVIATION DEPARTMENT AND SHOULD BE FIELD
VERIFIED. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY AND SHALL SATISFY
HIMSELF AS TO THE LOCATION OF ALL UNDERGROUND FACILITIES WITHIN THE
AREA OF CONSTRUCTION. ALL EXISTING UTILITIES, CABLES, EQUIPMENT, DEVICES
DAMAGED IN THE COURSE OF THIS CONTRACT SHALL BE IMMEDIATELY REPAIRED
AT THE EXPENSE OF' THE CONTRACTOR. WHERE ANY ITEM IS FOUND TO BE
LOCATED DIFFERENTLY THAN IS SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS, THE ACTUAL LOCATION
SHALL BE IMMEDIATELY MEASURED AND RECORDED ON THE RECORD DRAWING.
2. VARIOUS DIRECT BURIED FAA CABLES PASS THROUGH THE WORK ARM THESE
CABLES SERVE FAA FACILITIES (NAVAIDS) WHICH ARE CRITICAL FOR SAFE AIRPORT
OPERATION. IT IS OF' THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE THAT DAMAGE TO THESE CABLES
BE PREVENTED. CABLE LOCATIONS SHOWN ON THE PLANS ARE BASED ON THE
BEST INFORMATION AVAILABLE, BUT MAY NOT BE PRECISE. THE CONTRACTOR IS
SPECIFICALLY WARNED AGAINST SCALING FAA CABLE LOCATIONS FROM THE
APPROXIMATE DATA :SHOWN ON PLANS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL KEEP THE
OAR(OWNER APPROVED REPRESENTATIVE) INFORMED OF HIS EXCAVATION PLANS AT
LEAST FIVE WORKINGDAYS IN ADVANCE. THE OAR WILL NOTIFY THE FAA AND
REQUEST THAT THE CABLES BE STAKED IN THE FIELD. EVEN AFTER THE CABLES
ARE STAKED, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL USE ELECTRONIC DETECTION DEVICES AND
CAREFULLY HAND EXCAVATION TO LOCATE CABLES. AFTER CABLES ARE LOCATED,
CONTRACTOR SHALL SPECIFY EXACT LOCATIONS ( STATIONING, OFFSET, ELEVATION,
AND TYPE OF CABLE) AND SHALL BE ACCURATELY MEASURED AND RECORDED ON
THE RECORD DRAWING. COPIES OF THIS MEASUREMENT AND RECORDING OF THE
DATA SHALL BE CONSIDERED AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE CONTRACT
REQUIREMENTS. WHEN ENCASING EXISTING FAA CABLES IN DUCT OR OTHERWISE
EXCAVATING IN THEIR VACINITY CONTRACTOR SHALL USE EXTREME CAUTION TO
AVOID DAMAGING CABLES. ANY DAMAGE, EVEN IF APPEARING TO BE SUPERFICIAL,
SHALL BE REPORTED TO THE OAR. IN MANY CASES CABLE NICKS MAY BE
INEXPENSIVELY REPAIRED USING A CAST RESIN SPLICE KIT, BUT IF NOT REPAIRED
WILL LEAD TO FAILURE OF THE CABLE.
3. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTACTING UTILITY COMPANIES AND
FAA TO IDENTIFY AND LOCATE ANY UNDERGROUND UTILITIES AND/OR CABLE
WITHIN THE PROJECT LIMITS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ASSIST UTILITY COMPANY
IN EFFORTS TO FIELD VERIFY UNDERGROUND UTILITIES. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL
REVIEW ALL AIRFIELD UTILITIES WITH AIRFIELD MAINTENANCE BEFORE BEGINNING
WORK.
4• TEMPORARY WIRING SHALL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN THE TAXIWAY EDGE
LIGHTING SYSTEM AND RUNWAY EDGE LIGHT SYSTEM INCLUDING LIGHTED SIGNS
AND HOLD BARS, IN OPERATING CONDITION AT THE END OF EACH WORK PERIOD.
CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE TEMPORARY CABLES FOR TEMPORARY LIGHTS.
TAXIWAY EDGE LIGHTS SHALL REMAIN IN OPERATING CONDITION FOR ALL TAXIWAYS
WHICH ARE OR COULD BE OPENED TO TRAFFIC AT THE END OF THE WORK
PERIOD. OTHER LIGHTING SYSTEMS WITHIN THE WORK AREA, AND SHALL BE TAKEN
OUT OF SERVICE WHEN REQUIRED BY CONSTRUCTION AND SHALL BE RESTORED
AT THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE DATE. BUT IT IS NOT PERMISSIBLE TO ALLOW
PORTIONS OF EXISTING SYSTEMS EXTENDING BEYOND THE WORK AREA TO BE
AFFECTED. TEMPORARY WIRING SHALL BE PROVIDED TO MAINTAIN CONTINUITY OF
TAXIWAY EDGE LIGHTS AND RUNWAY EDGE LIGHTS, ETC. EXTENDING BEYOND THE
WORK AREA.
5. STENCIL ALL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT TO IDENTIFY FUNCTION, CIRCUIT
VOLTAGE AND PHASE:. WHERE THE EQUIPMENT CONTAINS FUSES, ALSO
STENCIL THE FUSE OR FUSE LINK AMPERE RATING. WHERE THE EQUIPMENT
DOES NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT STENCILING AREA, THE STENCILING SHALL BE
DONE ON THE WALL NEXT TO THE UNIT. THE LETTER SHALL BE ONE INCH HIGH
AND PAINTED IN WHITE OR BLACK PAINT TO PROVIDE THE HIGHEST CONTRAST
WITH THE BACKGROUND.
6. TEMPORARY CABLE MAY BE INSTALLED IN DUCTS OR LAID ON THE SURFACE OF
THE PAVEMENT IN AREAS NOT SUBJECT TO AIRCRAFT OR TRUCK TRAFFIC, AND
ANCHORED AT FREQUENT INTERVALS TO PREVENT MOVING. NO SEPARATE PAYMENT
WILL BE MADE FOR TEMPORARY WIRING TO MAINTAIN EXISTING SYSTEMS IN
OPERATION OR TO BYPASS SEGMENTS OF EXISTING SYSTEMS. ALL COSTS
INCIDENTAL THERE TO SHALL BE CONSIDERED INCIDENTAL TO THE PROJECT.
7. PRIOR TO WORKING ON ANY CIRCUIT, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE TO THE
ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE DEPT. A WRITTEN LOCKOUT PROCEDURE FOR APPROVAL.
THE ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE DEPT. SHALL REVIEW AND STATE FINAL LOCKOUT
RULES. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT RELY UPON DEACTIVATION OF THE CIRCUITS BY
THE TOWER OR BY OTHERS.
8. THERE SHALL BE NO SPLICES OF CONDUCTORS BETWEEN LIGHTS OR IN CONDUITS
OR DUCTS. SPLICES SHALL BE PERMITTED IN MANHOLES, JUNCTION BOXES,
LIGHT BASES, AND OTHER APPROVED LOCATIONS USING L-823 CONNECTORS.
9. THE CIRCUIT NUMBERS OF EACH CONDUCTOR SHALL BE IDENTIFIED BY
PERMANENT BRASS TAGS (SEE DETAIL) IN EACH MANHOLE, JUNCTION BOX AND
LIGHT BASE. ALL PROPOSED CONDUCTORS SHALL BE TESTED FOR INSULATION
RESISTANCE PRIOR TO CONNECTING TO EXISTING CIRCUIT, USING A 1000V
MEGOHMMETER. CIRCUITS OR NEW PORTIONS OF CIRCUITS SHALL BE AS
COMPLETE AS POSSIBLE FOR TESTING. ALL TESTING SHALL BE WITNESSED BY
THE OAR.
10. WHEN CONTRACTOR IS WORKING WITH EXISTING CONDUITS, HE SHALL REMOVE ALL
ABANDONED CABLES WITHIN PROJECT LIMITS AND IDENTIFY ALL ACTIVE CIRCUITS
ON RECORD DRAWINGS.
11. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IDENTIFYING ALL CABLE ROUTING AND
CIRCUIT DESIGNATIONS ON THE "AS -BUILT" DRAWINGS.
12. COUNTERPOISE WIRE IN NEW DUCT BANKS SHALL BE EXTENDED INTO THE
MANHOLES AND PULLBOXES AT EACH TERMINAL END AND CONNECTED TO 3/4" X
10' GROUND ROD.

12. SIGN LOCATIONS INDICATED ON THE PLANS ARE 35' PERPENDICULAR
DISTANCE FROM THE EDGE OF TAXIWAY OR RUNWAY DESIGNATED
EDGE OF FULL STRENGTH TO THE NEAREST SIDE OF SIGN TO
TAXIWAY.
13. THE SIGN TETHER AND BONDING CONDUCTOR SHALL NOT BE
ATTACHED AT THE SAME ANCHOR BOLT . AN APPROVED MECHANICAL
