Q ederal Ongineering gesting, Inc. Dated: February 24, 2020 Paul Bange Roofing, Inc. 7000 SW 21st Place Davie, FL 33317 Attn: Omar Velazquez RE: TAS-126 Roof Moisture Survey Publix #855 7576 South US1 Bay #22 Port St. Lucie FL, 34952 Dear Sirs: Phone:954=784=2941 E-Pax: 954-784-7875 admin@fed-eng.com www.fed-eng.com Job Order # 20R121 In accordance with your authorization, Federal Engineering &Testing, Inc. has performed a Roof Moisture Survey in compliance with 1AS-126 and the Florida Building Code Section 1521.12 on February 19, 2020 at the above referenced project site. The purpose of our survey was to determine the moisture content of the exterior roof. This is a roof moisture survey only and is not considered a roof top inspection. The subject building consists of a C.B.S. structure with a built up roof system over ISO insulation over a metal roof deck. On February 19, 2020 our field engineer visited the site and conducted a nuclear moisture survey. In addition, 4 core samples were secured to verify the oven dried moisture contents. All tests were performed according to the Florida Building Code Section 1521.12, Protocol TAS-126 and the Roof Consultants Institute "Standard Practice for the Detection and Location of Latent Moisture in Building Roofing Systems by Nuclear Thermalization" using a Troxler Model 3216. Pursuant to the Florida Building Code Section 1521.12; the moisture content of the existing roof system shall not exceed 5% by weight in the roof membrane and 8% by weight in the insulation system. No grid locations were found with trapped moisture greater than 5% in the roof membrane layers or 8% in the insulation layers. (See attached roof top plan for locations of corings and results of each test grid). The test results presented reflect the condition of the roof system at the time of the test. These results are time and sample dependent since roof conditions are continuously changing due to exposure to the elements and roof top traffic. It has been a pleasure serving you at this phase of your project and look forward to doing so in the near future. Sincerely, Z/f Y.oe Keith LeBlanc, PE 34 q G. Federal Engineering and Testing, Inc.
