Project Description: Applicant requests an exemption for the removal of grass only associated
with construction of a metal building (Building Permit #2003-0743). Per Land Development Code
6.00.04 this activity qualifies for an exemption.
No native vegetation is permitted to be removed. `

3. SIGNIFICANT ARCHAEOLOGICAL OR HISTORIC FINDINGS: The site is within an
archaeological zone; any requirements will be included as conditions of the Building Permit.
Mitigation: No mitigation is required, as no native vegetation is to be removed.
Conditions of Issuance: The following minimum standards for vegetation protection shall be
applied to areas of vegetation designated to be preserved (Land Development Code Section
6.00.05.C). A barrier shall be placed and maintained around the tree's perimeter to form a
continuous boundary as specified below.
