Dear Mr. Holmes:
You have requested information to obtain a local building permit for an 6x10
Floridian model shed, serial # 37595. This building was manufactured 7-21-1995 and
delivered to an independent dealer in Palm Bay, FI. This building was manufactured to
the Standard Building Code that was in effect at that time.
I have included a raised seal drawing that would be relevant to a building
manufactured during that time period. I have also included a copy of Section 102.7 of the
2010, 2014 and 2017 FI. Building code, which explains that existing buildings built under
the old SBC code are "grandfathered in."
If your local building official needs additional information concerning this building,
he can visit the Manufactured Building website under www.floddabuildino.oro.
