An ordinance of the [jurisdiction] adopting the 2017 edition
of NFFA 58, Liqudfred Petroleum Gas Code, documents listed in
Chapter 2 of drat code; prescribing cmdadons governihig
conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explo-
sion.; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of
fees; repealing Ordinance No. of the [jurisdiction( and
all other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict there-
with; providing a penalty; providing a severability clause; and
providing for publication; and providing an effective date.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE [gooenung bodyl OF THE [jtils-
dirtion]:
SECTION 1 That the Liqudficd Petroleum Gas Code and docu-
menia_adopted by Chapter 2, three (3) copies oC which are on
file and are open to inspection by the public in Cite ofFrce of the
[jurisdiction's leeepm' of record;J of the Uuli;dictionl, are hereby
adopted and incorporated into this ordinance as fully as if set
out at length herein, and From the date on which this ordL-
nance shall take effect, the provisions thereof shall be control-
t'ne
ling within the limits of QurisdiotionJ. The same are hereby
adopterL as the code of the [iursdiction] for the purpose of
prescribing regulations goventing conditions hazardous to life
and property from fire or explosion and providing for issuance
of permits aid collection of fees.
SECTIOi`l'2 Any person who shall violate any provision of
this code or standard hereby adopted or fail to comply there-
with; or who shall violate or fail to comply with any order made
thereunder; or wbo shall build in violation of any detailed state-
ment of specifications or plans submitted and approved there-
under; or failed to operate in accordance with any certificate or
permit issued thereunder; and from which no appeal has been
taken; or who shall £ail •to comply with such an order as
affirmed or modified by or by a court of competentin"sclic-
don, within the time fixed herein, shall severally for each and
every such violation and noncompliance, respectively, be gui[ty
of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not less than
