Please accept this correspondence as our proposal to complete work at project site:
5103 Indian Bend Lane
Proposed Scope of Work
We agree to provide all materials and labor to reside the exterior of the home.
Option 1. Exterior siding:
• Remove and dispose of the existing rotted or deteriorated wood siding and replace
with conventional plywood sub sheathing
• Install 5/8th plywood that has been painted along bottom 6 inches of exterior
• Wrap all exterior walls using a moisture barrier "Tyveck" and waterproof around win-
dow and door openings
• Install 4x8 sheets of Hardie Sierra siding
• Install Hardie woodgrain 1x trim around window and door openings, garage door
opening, corners and freeze boards
• Fasten all Hardie materials using stainless steel nails
• Caulk all butt and end joint

Option 2. Paint:
One color for walls and one color for trim

Note:
Any unforeseen wood repairs or damage found can be repaired on a time and material
basis, $65 per man hour and materials to be reimbursed at 20%.
Contractor is responsible for all necessary permits
Contractor is responsible for the daily cleanup and the proper storage of supplies.
Contractor is not responsible for damages caused by any acts of nature.
Contractor is not responsible for driveways, sidewalks, planters, plants, flowers, sod,
shrubbery, or irrigation, unless otherwise specified by this proposal.
We grant a ONE year craftsmanship Warranty, from the completion date of this project.
Due to the unpredictability of the construction material and labor market, this proposal is
.good for 20 days from the date of this correspondence

Any alterations or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be exe-
cuted only upon a written change order and will become an extra change over and

The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and are hereby ac-
cepted. Thompson's Remodeling and Home Repair Inc. is hereby authorized to do the
