Grant,
We are about to get our approval for a Minor Adjustment to a Major Site Plan for a new Cell Tower
we are proposing. Bethany Grubbs has advised us to contact Public Works with regards to us getting
a Site Development Permit in addition to our regular Building & Sub-Permits.
Can you please let us know what is needed for us to apply for the Site Development Permit, what the
approx timeframe is for approval, and what the fees are.
Thanks,
Jeff Lindstrom

Hi Jeff. The staff report and approval order are getting signatures by management. You will
need a site development permit for the site work through Public Works and a Building Permit
for the vertical construction. You can submit next week. Once my director signs the order, I
will scan it to you while it goes to the Attorney and Clerk of Court.

Bethany,
Just wanted to make sure you got everything in the mail from me last week.
Also, do we still need to get a separate Site Plan Permit or will our approval be the Site Plan Permit,
then we just need to submit for our Building and Sub Permits?
Please let me know any additional info.
Thanks,
Jeff

Yes, unfortunately because those plans will be stamped approved and given to each department.
You do have 30 days but we need to get your application completely finalized by March per our
supplemental standards for towers.
I am not sure if it is a new comment. I would encourage you to contact Jennifer. I see 8 live oaks on
the former submittal, so I assume it was existing.

Bethany,
We will begin to address these comments asap.
Did we miss the ERD comments previously or are these additional comments? Sorry if we did not
address them in the most recent submittal.
I’m assuming we have 30 days to address these comment? Also when we resubmit should we bring
another 8 sets and the CD? Please let me know.
Thanks,
Jeff

Subject: Comments
Good morning Mr. Lindstrom,
As we previously discussed, I was awaiting on Public Works comments to determine what our next
step would be. Public Works does have comments; however, you can choose the approach that you
would like to take.
PW requires the following:
Remove the typical section detail from the plan; or,
Resubmit an amended plan with the revised typical section detail meeting Code.
If you choose to resubmit an updated typical section detail, I encourage you to contact Grant
Chambers, his contact information is listed in the report, to discuss what is needed.
Since you will have to resubmit, please address ERD’s comment regarding the live oak trees on the
Landscape Plan, comment attached.
Note: There will not be a charge for the resubmittal.
Please let me know if you have any questions,
Bethany
