Culpepper & Terpening, Inc. 2980 South 25" Street Fort Pierce, FL 34981 Planning Division RE: FPL Interstate Solar Energy Center -Request for Zoning Compliance Determination Dear Mr. Terpening, This letter is in response to the request of zoning compliance determination for the project known as FPL Interstate Solar Energy. The FPL Interstate Solar Center is currently under construction and is nearing completion on its 74,5 MW photovoltaic solar energy center. The developer has met the approvals, authorizations granted by the following resolutions, Resolution Numbers 18-009 and 18-010 indicating an expiration date of January 23, 2020. Pursuant to Florida Statutes 553.73(10), "structures or facilities of electric utilities, as defined in s.366.02, which are directly involved in the generation, transmission, or distribution of electricity" are exempt from the Florida Building Code. Based on the above information this Certificate of Zoning Compliance acknowledge that the development and use activities on the subject property are vested and complies with the general purpose, goals, objectives and standards of the St. Lucie County Land Development Code, the St. Lucie County Comprehensive Plan and the Code of Ordinances of St. Lucie County.
