SS 300 Series
Professional Grade Silicone Sealant
BASIC USES & DESCRIPTION:
Si 300 Series Silicone Sealant is a medium modulus silicone sealant
designed for roofing applications and various joint applications.
COLORS:
SS 300 Series Silicone Sealant is available in 3 standard colors:
D White —SS301
Tan — SS 302
;+ Light Gray — SS 303
(Custom colors may be available upon request at an additional charge)
PACKAGING:
SS 306 Series Silicone Sealant is available in 10.0 fl. oz. cartridges.
WEATHER RESTRICTIONS:
SS 300 Series Silicone Sealant should not be applied when
temperatures are below 20°F or above 120°F.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE:
SS 300 Series Silicone Sealant has a recommended shelf fife of
12 months from date of manufacture when stored in unopened
containers and between 50°F and 80°F. Refer to product
packaging for manufacture date.
APPLICATION:
The surface must be clean, dry and free from oils and other
contaminants. A thorough wire brushing, grinding, sandblasting or
solvent cleaning may be required to expose clean, sound, virgin
surface. SS 300 Series is primetless on most common, nonporous
building substrates. Consult Progressive Materials, LLC for priming
recommendations on other materials.
In all cases, a sample should be tested and/or test joints should be
installed on the project to confirm suitability.
TYPICAL CURE RATE:
Cure rate at 77°F and 50% RH:
A. Tack -free time: 30 minutes to 1 hour

B. Through cure (3/8" depth): 6-12 hours
CAUTIONS & RECOMMENDATIONS:
SS 300 Series in neither tested nor represented as suitable for
medical or pharmaceutical uses. SS 300 Series is not
recommended for silicone structural glazing, application in
confined areas without proper ventilation, or joints under
constant water submersion.
