METHODS AND MATERIALS FOR CONTAINMENT AND CLEANING UP
LARGE SPILLS Soak spills with sand or earth and remove. Repeat
sorbent/sweep cycle until the spill is dried up. Large
spills of the material may best be cleaned up by
absorbing the liquid on solid materials such as
vermiculite, clay, kitty litter, or by adding aqueous
electrolyte to coagulate the polymer for disposal in
an approved landfill. Collect and dispose according
to local regulations.
SMALL SPILLS Flush with water.
SECTION 7 – HANDLING AND STORAGE
PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING
PROTECTIVE
MEASURES
Use in a well ventilated area. Keep out of reach of

use ventilation to keep exposure to airborne
contaminants below the respective exposure limits. Use
goggles and gloves. Similar to most latex paints.
GENERAL HYGIENE Do not take internally. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.
Avoid breathing vapors from heated material.
