This letter is to address comments from the latest plan review dated 5/1/2020.
Comment: (17) Accessible means of egress is required. Check maneuvering clearances at doors
and thresholds. (1009. 1010)
Response: All means of egress comply with Florida Building Code – Accessibility, Sixth Edition
(2017). Revisions were made on the following sheets to provide compliance: A1.20, A1.32,
A1.33, A1.36, A1.37, A1.38, A1.39, A1.42 and A1.43.
Comment: Provide a St. Lucie County Review Affidavit with all components & cladding,
including windows, doors, roof system, louvers, mechanical stands, shutters.
Response: Contractor will submit required documents.
Comment: Clearly show on the plans the portions of the building which will conform to ADA
standards.
Response: See notes addressing accessibility requirements on sheet A1.00.
Comment: Clearly show on the plans how the building will conform to the Fair Housing
requirements. Show backing for grab bars and required clearances in bathrooms and kitchens.
Response: See notes addressing accessibility requirements on sheet A1.00, Interior Elevations
on sheets A4.20, A421, A4.22, A4.23 and Unit Accessibility Plans on sheet A4.24.
Comment: DEP Permit required.
Response: DEP permit has been issued. Copies previously submitted.
