In response to your review of the above noted permit application and community, please note the following
responses related to the architectural plans in black, italic font.
Issue - Building Review:
Please provide flame and smoke indices, per R302.9.1, R302.9.2, R302.10.1 and R302.102 of the Florida
Building Code 6' Edition, 2017.
Response: Per code sectionsR302.9.1, R302.9.2, R302.10.1 and R302.10.2 ofthe FBC2017, the plan
set has been updated to include flame and smoke indices. Please refer to sheet CS2 for updated
information.
Issue - Building Review:
Please correct "clothes dryer exhaust duct shall not exceed 25 feet' under exhaust fans and venting notes #3 on
sheet CS2 of plan set, per MI602.4.5.1 of the Florida Residential Building Code 6`s Edition 2017.
Response: Per code section M1602.4.5.1 of the FBC 2017, the clothes dryer exhaust duct note has
been updated to 35 feet in lieu of 25feet Please refer to sheet CS2 for updated information.
Issue - Building Review:
Please label egress door; per R311.2 of the Florida Residential Building Code 6' Edition, 2017.
Response: Per code section R3I1.2 of the FBC 2017, the front door has been labeled as an egress
door. Please refer to sheet Al.I for updated information.

Please provide column anchor detail from Typ. CW Column at Lanai/Porch on sheet A5.2 of plan set, per
R407.3 of the Florida Residential Building Code 6t° Edition, 2017.
Response: The details located on sheet A5.2 reflect architectural specifications and finishes only.
Please refer to detail 7 on sheet SD-1 of the structural documents for detailed anchoring and
connection related information.
