Attachment Requirements Per RAS-117:
Based on the requirements of Florida Product Approval # FL1654-R26, Appendix 1, pg
17 of 81, System No. W-73, with a maximum design pressure of-75psf, the following are
our recommended fastening patterns to attach the proposed base sheet through the
preliminarily attached insulation layer(s) to the min. 15/32" plywood deck utilizing
approved fasteners and plates (Dekfast # 14 Fasteners with Dekfast Hex Plates; OMG
HD Fasteners with OMG 3" Round Metal Plates; Roofgrip # 14 Fasteners with OMG Flat
Bottom Plates; Trufast HD Fasteners with Trufast 3" Metal Insulation Plates):
Field: 10" o.c. @ 4" laps and 3 staggered rows 10" o.c.
Perimeter: 10" o.c. @ 4" laps and 3 staggered rows 10" o.c.
Corners: 10" o.c. @ 4" laps and 5 staggered rows 10" o.c.
*Note: If any portion of the anchor/base sheet falls within the perimeter or corner
zones, then the entire sheet has to be fastened to the requirements of that zone.

Contractor to verify that the fastening patterns meet manufacturer's
requirements for issuance of a warranty (as applicable).
All work shall be in compliance with the local building code product
control notice of acceptance and manufacturer specifications and Florida
Building Code 2017 Edition.
Wind load calculations based on ASCE-7, 2017 FBC and information
provided by client. Client is responsible for verifying existing/proposed
conditions/decks as it pertains to the above provided product approval.
All work shall be inspected by our field engineer (or authorized
representative) or a building department inspector to verify compliance
