Demo, haul and dispose of existing dock, boat lift, and all pilings. Existing aluminum boat lift canopy to be saved and
stored on -site.
Construct a new 375 SF dock In accordance with the engineered plans as follows:
Set new Marine Grade pilings.
2 x 8 PIT Bents secured with a 5l8" stainless -steel all -thread at each connect,
2 x 8 PIT Stringers secured with stainless steel screws,
#1 Grade, 2 x 6 Pfr Marine Deck gapped at 112" and secured with 3' stainless -steel screws.
NOTES:
1. Wood RX clear sealant to be applied t5 weeks after completion.
2. As-bult drawing will be completed to confirm overall sq. ft.
3. Price Is based on $37.50 per SF of dock area. Final Invoice will be adjusted to reflect the as-bulit square footage
4. IMPORTANT: aluminum canvas frame cover must be Installed AFTER inspection. Aluminum awning will need to
be modified to fit on new lift. Aluminum bracket work by others and Is not Included with this proposal.
5. Aluminum boat lift canopy reinstallation: $275; canvas by others.
Provide and Install (1) Aluminum and Stalnless-steel 7,000# Gear Drive Cradle Boat Lift by Neptune. Includes:
carpeted wood bunks; remote control wlaulo-run limitswitch; SEArmor corrosion resistant package; (4) new Marine
Grade lift pilings.
OPTIONAL BUNK UPGRADE (not Included with this proposal):
$875: (4) aluminum bunks; (8) pair aluminum bunk brackets; stainless steel beam & bunk hardware
Engineered Drawings $590, Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) &Army Corps of Engineers
(ACE) Permits $350, St. Lucie County Permit $250, NOC Recording $10 (Estimated)
HOA, POA or other Community Approvals may be required for the proposed work. Associated fees Of any) are not
Included In this proposal and are the responsibility of the Owner/Purchaser.
As per code; electrical & plumbing work must be performed by a licensed contractor and Is not Included In this
proposal. The electrician shall provide adequate power supply to operate remote control units, switches, motors,
lights, etc. (Specifications available upon request).

1. DUTIES AND RIGHTS OF THE CONTRACTOR Contractor's duties and rights are as follows:
a) Contractor Licensing & Insurance - CORE Marine Contractors, Inc. holds a State Certified General Contractor License #CGCA26812.
Contractor agrees to keep in force at his own expense during the entire period of construction on the project such insurance as will protect
Contractor, Owner/Purchaser and any lender from claims. Contractor shall provide proof of liability insurance and employee workman's
compensation insurance, including USL&H (Longshore Harbor Workers Compensation Act..)
b) Responsibility and Supervision of Construction - Contractor shall be solely responsible for all Work under this contract, including the
techniques, sequences, procedures, means and coordination. Contractor shall supervise and direct only the scope of work covered by this
contract to the best of their ability, giving all attention necessary for such proper supervision and direction.
c) Furnishing of Labor, Materials, etc. - Contractor shall provide and pay for all labor, materials, tools and equipment to complete the work,
unless otherrvise stated.
d) Payment of Taxes; Procurement of Licenses and Permits - Contractor shall pay all taxes required by law in connection with the
completion of the work. Including but not limited to, sales, use, and similar taxes, and shall secure all licenses necessary for proper completion
of the work. Contractor shall not pay any real estate taxes, impact fees, utility connection fees, permits, etc. (unless specified).
e) Compliance with Construction Laws and Regulations - Contractor shall comply with all the laws, ordinances, rules, regulations or orders
of all public authorities relating to the performance of work.
f) Responsibility for Negligence of Employees and Subcontractors - Contractor shall be fully responsible for all acts or omissions of
Contractors employees, subcontractors and other persons doing work under any contract or agreement with the Contractor on behalf of the
Owner/Purchaser.
g) Warranty of Fitness of Equipment and Materials - Contractor represents and warrants to Owner/Purchaser that all equipment and
materials will be new (unless specified).
h) Safety Precautions and Programs - Contractor shall take reasonable precautions for the safety of all employees and subcontractors.
Contractor is not responsible for the safety of unauthorized visitors to the job site.
i) Clean-up - Contractor shall keep the work premises free of waste material and rubbish caused by the Work. Contractor further agrees
that prior to the Date of Substantial Completion to remove all such waste material and rubbish, together with all his tools, equipment, machinery
and surplus materials and shall conduct general clean-up operations.
2. OWNERIPURCHASER PAYMENT Owner/Purchaser agrees to promptly make payment directly to the Contractor in accordance with the
Payment Terms. Credit/Debit card transactions shall be subject to additional service transaction fees.
3. WARRANTY & CORRECTING WORK The Contractor shall upon the completion of the work; warrant the work supervised by the Contractor
and/or by subcontractors for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion against faulty and/or defective materials, equipment, and/or
workmanship (Boat lift factory warranty exceeds contractor warranty— see boat lift manufacturer warranty for details). Contractor shall not be
responsible for or warrant against items affected by natural disasters, wear and tear, expansion or contraction of materials and loss or injury.
4. MISCELLANEOUS
a) ASSIGNABILITY — This Agreement is not assignable by either of the Parties.
b) PERMITS - This Agreement is subject to the Contractor's ability to obtain all permits necessary to perform the Work.
c) DEED RESTRICTIONS — Owner/Purchaser assures Contractor that the scope of work is approved by and/or in compliance with any
Deed Restrictions that apply to the premises. Any and all fees charged by any governing association shall be the responsibility of the owner.
d) ROCK & DEBRIS CLAUSE - In the event the Contractor encounters rock, rock layers, foreign material, debris, etc. during the
piling installation; Contractor shall be entitled to charge an additional $195 per hour (typical 3-man crew @ $65 per man hour) for the
actual additional time required to clear said material and complete the installation.
e) DIMENSIONS — All dimensions I sq. ft calculations are approximate and may vary due to extenuating circumstances. Deck boards may
be shorter than specified to allow for trimming. Wood and pilings are natural products and subject to variation.
f) EXISTING CONDITIONS - Owner/Purchaser assures Contractor that existing docks, boat lifts, boats, electrical, etc. are in satisfactory
condition. Contractor shall not be held responsible for any existing condition causing property damage, injury or death.
g) ADDITIONAL REQUESTED WORK - Owner/Purchaser agrees to pay Contractor for additional requested work; if applicable. Typically;
Contractor will provide Owner/Purchaser with a fixed price for additional requested work. In lieu of a fixed price; Owner/Purchaser agrees to a
Time & Material rate as follows: Time @ $65 per man hour & Material @ cost+ 25%+ delivery, fuel, tax, etc., if applicable.
h) WATER DEPTH - Owner/Purchaser accepts that the water depth in the area of the dock and/or boat lift (existing or proposed), even in
the event of rendering them unusable, as satisfactory considering the varying tides/tidal movement.
i) REFUNDS - An Owner/Purchaser refund request will be considered without obligation by the Contractor. In the event a refund, it will be
subject to deductions for administration, travel time, drawings, fees, costs, etc.
j) LITIGATION - In the event of litigation arising from this Agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover a attorney fees and
costs from the non -prevailing party, including any incurred on appeal.
