Notice is hereby given that the Treasure Coast HOME Consortium will hold and conduct a public
hearing to be held on July 8, 2020, beginning at 4:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as such matters may be
heard in Conference Room 3, 2300 Virginia Avenue, 3rd Floor, Fort Pierce, Florida 34982, for the purpose
of receiving comments and hearing discussion concerning the Fiscal Year 2020/2021 Action Plan to be
submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The purpose of the hearing is to listen to residents’ views about housing needs, as well as gather ideas for
activities the Consortium should consider funding in the next program year.
All interested parties are invited to present their comments at the time and place set forth above. In light of
the novel coronavirus safety guidelines, any person may attend by phone conference by calling the local
bridge line (772) 462-2386. Persons attending by phone may submit written questions or comments up to
24 hours prior to the hearing by emailing hancej@stlucieco.org. The public will be able to physically attend
this meeting but seating in the Conference Room 3 will be regulated to comply with social distancing
protocols. Members of the public who do attend are encouraged to wear masks or similar devices, which
cover the nose and mouth.
Persons are advised that, if they decide to appeal any decision made at this hearing, they will need
a record of the proceedings, and, for such purpose, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the
proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be
based.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, anyone with a disability requiring
accommodation to attend this meeting should contact the St. Lucie County Safety and Risk Manager, Mark
Wishard, ADA Coordinator, at (772) 462-1546, or T.D.D. (772) 462-1428, at least forty-eight (48) hours
prior to the meeting.
