Concrete Installation Guidefines
I) Drill''/d' hole through step and bracket at
desired position through lower wooden
frame member. ,
2) Install L-bracket's using %_" x 20 x 2'/<"
Bolts, washers, and nuts.
3) Mark location o'J'hole in L bracket on the
concrete.
4) Move the step away from the house. Drill
holes in concrete at the desired locations.
Tap in''/<" cone ete anchors.
5) Replace step so i hat. the tops of the concrete
:anchors protrude through the L-brackets.
Secure with the:iiuts and washers:
Ground Installation.

(1) 3/8" x 1 '/a" lag screw

Ground Installation Guidelines
I) Set step in desired position and mark the
anchor placements on the ground, Remove
step.
2) Screw the anchors in the ground so that the
eye of the anchor will be in the position as.
shown.
3) Replace step and mark the place where the
hole in the eye of the anchor meets the side
of the step at the height of the lower frame
member.
4) Fasten screw into lower frame member
thotlgh eye of the anchor and washer.
WARNING: ]?allure to anchor the step properly
can result in injury. Place the step against the
hose. Make sure the surfaoe on which the step
rests is level.

Test Summary:
Test 1- Dimension Verbcation: The deck structure met all of the listed code requirements
for dimensional acceptance.
Test 2 - Vertical Load (300 lb treadload over 4 sq. 110 The stair tread achieved the 2x
design load as required by code agencies with a recovery of 93%. The stair tread also
achieved the 2.5x design load as required by BOCA without structural failure.
Photographs of the systems tested, and a copy of this report will be retained by An for a period
