Hi Andrew,
Please see the attached picture. This guardrail is on the top floor.
My detail is a typical repair detail since the repair is similar to the rust spot repair. But the rust spot repair will
not affect the reinforcement of the slab and will only remove the vertical dowels for the CMU wall above the
slab level at the top of the deck.
If there is any edge repair needed I understand it will require the services of a Special Inspector and Special
Inspector Plan.
