Federal Highway Port St. Lucie, FL To Whom this may concern: Please know I personally observed the added floor space combined with the existing floor area and based on the following found the entire space combined compliant with the 2017 Existing Florida Building Code, Life Safety standards, Fire Protection requirements and the 2017 Florida Plumbing Code. The building is Type IV, unprotected and unsprinklered with a 2 hour fire rated party wall with the Seamstress business neighbor. Per FBC 2017, Section 903.2.1.3 for Group A-3 (Arcades), fire sprinklers are not required as space is at ground level, area is less that 12,000 sf and Occupant Load is under 300. Per the FPC 2017, Section 403, with total occupant load of 282, or 141 per gender, a minimum of (3) toilets, (1) lavatory required for women and (2) toilets, (1) lavatory required for men. Provided is (3) toilets, (2) lavatories for women, (1) toilet, (1) urinal, (1) lavatory for men, plus (1) private staff restroom with (1) toilet and (1) lavatory. (1) service sink is existing. See attached diagram showing floor areas, uses, gaming placement and the new path of travel for egress at a maximum 83 feet. The existing floor area is not being changed and is equipped with emergency lights, illuminated exit signs and fire extinguishers as required by Code. With all this, this letter Certifies the expanded arcade is in compliance with the above described Codes and acceptable to this office.
