• Verify that the guide mounting surface on the lamb Is flush.
o Verify that all parts required for installation are with the door. Sae page 2, Fioure 1 for General Bit of Material.

Oftee: GUIDE BELLMOUTH FOR CURTAIN ENTRY INTO GUIDE IS FACTORY NOTCHED. APPLY 15-201 BEND IN BELLMOl1TH TO ASSURE
SMOOTH CURTAIN ENTRY. FAILURE TO FLARE GUIDE BELLMOUTH WILL RESULT IN CURTAIN SCRATCHING AND/OR DAMAGE.
Attach Commercial Brackets to guides, locating top surface of brae ket Y below top of guitle. Use 2 each Y4 -20 x se' carriage bolts, 114 -20 serrated
flange hex nuts and Y' flat washers per bracket for tensioner and the non-tensioner (drive) end for push-up operation. See Figure S.

Install drive bracket with 2 each Y. - 20 x 1 Y4' carriage bolts, Y4 - 20 serrated flange hex nuts and Y' flat washers. Insert
1 each}' O.D. xV long spacer tubes between guide and bracket at each bolt location. See Figure 6.

Install drive bracket with 2 each y - 20 x 2Y' carriage bolts, Y4.20 semdled flange hex nuts and Y' flat washers. Insert
1 each 1 Y.' O.D. x 1 Y:' long spacer tubes between guide and bracket at each bolt location. See Figure 6.
o Pantheon Motor Operation: Install drive bracket with 1 Y( spacing between outside of guide and inside of bracket No

STEP 5: PUSH-UP TENSIONER END - FLOOR LEVEL INSTALLATION
o Rotate tensloner release arm towards wall.
o Slide tensloner over axle, with arrow pointing toward wall, until approximately
2 rW of axle is outside of tensloner. Allow release an to rotate back towards
starting position. See Fgure 12.
o Tighten set screw when In place.

STEP 7a: REDUCED HAND CHAIN DRIVE END - FLOOR LEVEL INSTALLATION
o Fasten cast ring gear to drum using 3 each %-16 x 1 Xs' grade 5 hex bolts and %" lock washers.
o Install each %-16 x 1' square head set screws in the threaded holes In the cast axle support.
These will be tightened against the axle later.
o Slide cast axle support over axle until approximately 2 %' of axle is outside of cast axle support.
See Figure 14.
o Tighten set screws when in place.

and drum. Attach sprocket with 3 each %-16 X 3)p grade 5 hex bolts and 31,' lock washers
o Slide stamped aide support over axle, with anew pointing toward well. until approximately
1 %" of aide is outside of stamped aide support. Sea Figure 15.
o Tlchten set screws when in olace.

o Before liftng, odent bottom bar at 12 o'clock position.
• Ralse door using appropriate lifting equipment assuring a protective barrier Is maintained between product and any
surface or object that it may come Into contact with.
o Position door on brackets with tensioner and axle support resting safely on top of commercial bracket flange.
See Flgures 17-20 for appropriate drive type application.
o Door should be positioned as dose as possible to the header and still be able to rotate and dear bottom bar.
o Each end of door should be equal distance from the header and the curtain must be centered in the opening.

O Attach fast axle support to commercial bracket using
-16 x s/s' grade 5 hex bolt, %" look washer and %' flat washer.
O Position chain hoist assembly on door bracket next to cast
ande support and attach to door bracket using 2 each
%-16 x Y," grade 5 hex bolts, V lock washers and %"
flat washers. The spur gear on the hoist will engage with the
Internal teeth of the previously installed cast ring gear.
See figure 17.
O Connect cast axle support bracket to side of chain hoist
using Y,-18 x Y,' hex bolt and%' lock washer. See Figure 17.
O Feed hand chain over chain pocket wheel and through hoist
pa Connect ends of hand chain, being camful not to twist chain.
Hand chain may be lengthened or shortened as necessary.

o With bottom bar at 12 o'clock posigon, rotate door towards wall 114
revolutions.
o While firmly holding door at bottom bar, cut packaging that secures the
door. Direct bottom bar Into guides, stopping Just below headslop area.
See Figure 21.

4 Lower bottom bar and install slide lock and step plate using 2
each Y. - 20 x 1' hex bolts, %a -18 hex nuts, Ym gat washers and
YA - 20 nylon Insert hex nuts. Do this at both ends of bottom bar.
See Figure 23.
o Transfer the Y-20x& yardage bolts and Y-20 serrated flange
hex nuts that were removed from both ends of the bottom bar to
the 2 holes at the center of the bottom bar and angle.
O For push-up operation only, install rope in one of the holes at the
center of the horizontal leg of the bottom bar angle.

o Cycle door by raising and lowering door to Its fully dosed and fully opened position.

* Evaluate spring tension. If adjustments to spring are required, proceed to Step 15.
STEP 15: ADJUST SPRING TENSION
P Before increasing or decreasing spring tension, loosen Y -16 square head set screws in tensioner and axle support at both ends of door.
o INCREASING SPRING TENSION: At lensioner and, using pipe wrench, rotate axlefolpe wrench away from wall. Increase tension in Y.-Y2 turn
Increments. Allow axle/pipe wrench to ease bark towards wall until tensioner secures axle rotation. Reset set
screws and reevaluate spring tension by cycling door.
• DECREASING SPRING TENSION: At tension end, using pipe wrench, rotate exle/pipe wrench away from wag slightly. Holding this position, rotate
tensioner release arm towards wall. Carefully allow axielwmnch to rotate towards wall in Y. turn Increments.
While holding this position, allow tensioner release arm to rotate back to its starting position. Carefully allow
axle/pipe wrench to ease back until tensoner secures axle rotation. Re -tighten set screws and re-evaluate
spring tension by cycling door.
