One ten-foot auger hole was investigated and found to contain soils consistent with those in the surrounding area, which are capable of supporting loads not to exceed 2500 pounds per square foot. One fifteen-foot probe penetration test was performed to determine the density of the existing soil. These tests, performed in compliance of Section R401.4 of the 2017 Florida Building Code, Residential, provided sufficient evidence that the underlying soils will support the proposed structure. Per the attached SCS Soil Survey information, the soils are consistent with and classified as Winder Loamy Sand. and are not expansive, compressive or otherwise of qu estionable characteristics. Therefore, per Section R401.4, additional soil tests in accordance with FBC 1803.6 beyond this preliminary report are not necessary.
