SCOPE:
This NOA is being issued under the applicable rules and regulations governing the use of construction materials. The
documentation submitted has been reviewed and accepted by Miami-Dade County RER - Product Control Section to be
used in Miami Dade County and other areas where allowed by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
This NOA shall not be valid after the expiration date stated below. The Miami-Dade County Product Control Section
(In Miami Dade County) and/or the AHJ (in areas other than Miami Dade County) reserve the right to have this
product or material tested for quality assurance purposes. If this product or material fails to perform in the accepted
manner, the manufacturer will incur the expense of such testing and the AHJ may immediately revoke, modify, or
suspend the use of such product or material within their jurisdiction. RER reserves the right to revoke this acceptance,
if it is determined by Miami-Dade County Product Control Section that this product or material fails to meet the
requirements of the applicable building code.
This product is approved as described herein, and has been designed to comply with the Florida Building Code
including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone of the Florida Building Code.
DESCRIPTION: Ultra HT Wind & Water Seal™ High Temperature
LABELING: Each unit shall bear a permanent label with the manufacturer's name or logo, city, state and following
statement: "Miami-Dade County Product Control Approved", unless otherwise noted herein.
RENEWAL of this NOA shall be considered after a renewal application has been filed and there has been no change
in the applicable building code negatively affecting the performance of this product.
TERMINATION of this NOA will occur after the expiration date or if there has been a revision or change in the
materials, use, and/or manufacture of the product or process. Misuse of this NOA as an endorsement of any product,
for sales, advertising or any other purposes shall automatically terminate this NOA. Failure to comply with any section
of this NOA shall be cause for termination and removal of NOA.
ADVERTISEMENT: The NOA number preceded by the words Miami-Dade County, Florida, and followed by the
expiration date may be displayed in advertising literature. If any portion of the NOA is displayed, then it shall be done
in its entirety.
INSPECTION: A copy of this entire NOA shall be provided to the user by the manufacturer or its distributors and
shall be available for inspection at the job site at the request of the Building Official.
This NOA renews NOA 13-1125.06 consists of pages 1 through 3.

APPROVED ASSEMBLIES:
Deck Type 1: Wood, non-insulated
Deck Description: New construction or reroof minimum 19/32” or greater plywood or wood plank.
System E (1): Anchor sheet mechanically fastened deck, membrane adhered.
Base Sheet: One or more plies of ASTM D 226 Type II or ASTM D 2626 with a minimum 4” head lap and a
6” end lap mechanically fastened to deck with approved nails and tin caps 6"o.c. at the laps and
two staggered rows 12"o.c. the field of the roll.
Membrane: One or more plies of Ultra HT Wind & Water Seal™ High Temperature underlayment with a
minimum 3” side lap and 6” end lap. Place the first course of membrane parallel to the eave,
rolling the membrane to obtain maximum contact. Remove the release membrane as the
membrane is applied.
Surfacing: Approved for mechanically fastened metal roofing, asphaltic shingles, wood shakes and shingles,
quarry slate roof assemblies.

LIMITATIONS:
1. Fire Classification is not part of this acceptance.
2. This acceptance is for prepared roofing applications. Minimum deck requirements shall be in compliance with
applicable building code. Ultra HT Wind & Water Seal™ High Temperature underlayment shall be installed in
strict compliance with applicable Building Code.
3. Ultra HT Wind & Water Seal™ High Temperature underlayment may be used in mechanically fastened metal
roofing, asphaltic shingles, wood shakes and shingles, quarry slate roof assemblies. Ultra HT Wind & Water
Seal™ High Temperature underlayment shall not be used as roof tile underlayment.
4. Ultra HT Wind & Water Seal™ High Temperature underlayment shall be applied to a smooth, clean, and dry
surface with deck free of irregularities.
5. Ultra HT Wind & Water Seal™ High Temperature underlayment shall not be applied over an existing roof
membrane as a recover system.
6. Ultra HT Wind & Water Seal™ High Temperature underlayment shall not be left exposed as a temporary roof for
longer than 30 days of application.
7. Refer to Prepared Roofing system Product Control Notice of Acceptance for listed approval of this product with
specific prepared roofing products.
8. Ultra HT Wind & Water Seal™ High Temperature underlayment may be used with any approved roof covering
Notice of Acceptance listing Ultra HT Wind & Water Seal™ High Temperature underlayment as a component
part of an assembly in the Notice of Acceptance. If it is not listed, a request may be made to the Authority
Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) or the Miami-Dade County Product Control Department for approval provided that
appropriate documentation is provided to detail compatibility of the products, wind uplift resistance, and fire
testing results.
9. When applying the membrane in the valley, start at the low point and work to the high point, rolling the
membrane from the center outward in both directions. For ridge applications, center the membrane and roll from
the center outward in both directions.
10. Roll or broom the entire membrane surface so as to have 100% contact with the surface, giving special attention
to overlap areas.
11. Flash vent pipes, stacks, chimneys and penetrations in compliance with Roof Assembly current Product Control
Notice of Acceptance and applicable Building Code.
12. All protrusions or drains shall be initially taped with a 6” piece of underlayment. The flashing tape shall be
pressed in place and formed around the protrusions to ensure a tight fit. A second layer of Ultra HT Wind &
Water Seal™ High Temperature underlayment shall be applied over the underlayment.
13. All products listed herein shall have a quality assurance audit in accordance with the Florida Building Code and
Rule 61G20-3 of the Florida Administrative Code.
14. All membranes or packaging shall bear the imprint or identifiable marking of the manufacturer's name or logo ,
city and state of manufacturing facility, and the following statement: "Miami-Dade County Product Control
Approved" or the Miami-Dade County Product Control Seal as shown below.
