Dear Building Official:
The existing structural slab on the address listed above is reinforced with post tension cables. Attachments to the slab can be made
with the use of fasteners with a length of 3/4" or less. This will allow for fastener penetration that Is less than the minimum coverage
requirements for post tension cables. As a result, there should be no conflict with the cables.
Attachment to concrete or masonry shall be via power driven fasteners. Secure runners with fasteners located 2" from each end and
spaced a maximum of 16" on center.
