1. Obtain Permit and Record Notice of Commencement with
Building Dept.
2. Apply protective measures to protect driveway, lawn, landscaping,
exterior windows and doors, as needed.
3. Remove (1) layer of existing shingles, haul away and dispose of
properly. If second layer of shingles is present, additional fee(s) may
apply.
4. Inspect roof decking for structural damage and repair/replace as
needed; INCLUDE UP TO (3) Three 4'x8' sheets of CDX PLYWOOD.
**(any additional plywood replacement to be done at $65.00 per
sheet).
5. Re-nail decking to meet Florida code using 8-D ring shank nails
every 6" O.c.
6. Leave existing gutters if possible; Brilliant Roofing is not
responsible for damage. If required/requested Brilliant Roofing will
remove and dispose of Ol~ Customer is responsible for new
replacement gutters (initi .
7. Remove and replace all drip edge flashing around complete
perimeter.
8. Remove and replace all valley metal.
9. Remove and replace lead pipe flashing on all plumbing stacks.
10. Remove and replace ridge vent(s).
11. Install new high temperature synthetic underlayrnent to meet
Miami Dade Code compliance over self-adhering moisture barrier to
meet Insurance discount requirements.
12. Instal! factory roll formed u.s. galvalume 1" barb locking panels
with concealed fasteners. Color: Mill Finish.
13. Install butyl tape and tri-polymer sealants in all areas where
applicable.
14. Install EPDM urethane lifetime pipe boots on all vent stacks.
15. Replace all bath and kitchen exhaust fan vents with new low
profile galvanized gooseneck vents.
16. Provide thorough cleanup with magnetized yard sweep to
customer'S satisfaction.

17. Pass all inspections with successful results through final
completion certificate.

BRILLIANT PAYMENT TERMS:
10% Down upon signed agreement, 50% upon commencement of
removal, 25% upon final material delivery. 15% + permit fees and
additional costs upon completion.
**AII taxes to be paid by Brilliant Roofing. Since municipality pricing
differs, permit fees will be added at actual cost to final payment.

Brilliant Roofing agrees to furnish and provide all materials and labor described within this
agreement. Brilliant Roofing reserves the right to substitute any materials with equivalent or
superior products. All agreements must appear in writing as no verbal agreements will be
warranted. Contractor is not responsible for labor disputes, strikes, poor weather setbacks, acts
of god, or any other delays beyond the Contractor's control. Customer can cancel this
Agreement within (3) three days of execution in writing.
