If connecting to wood, sub out tap-cons for #10 x 2” sheet metal screws. B = 2x2 and or 2x3 aluminum post connected to 1x2 with 2 - 1” x1” x 2” angle clips (1 each side) top and bottom with 4 - #8 sheet metal or self-tapping screws. C = 2x2 aluminum door jamb connection to 1x2 with 1 – 1” x 1” x 2” angle clip top and bottom With 4 - #8 sheet metal or self-tapping screws. D = 2x2 aluminum door jamb connected to house with ¼” x 3” tap-con, 1 within 6” of edge and then 24” on center. If connecting to wood use #10 x 3” sheet metal screws. In some cases for out of plum walls a receiver may be needed. E = 2x2 aluminum chair-rail or kick plate rail connected to 1x2 or post with 1 – 1” x 1” x 2” angle clip on the underside of rail at each end (2 per rail) with 4 - #8 sheet metal or self – tapping screws. F = If kick plate is added to job it will be connected thru roll form kick plate channel to aluminum structure with #8 sheet metal or self-tapping screws, 1 within 2” from each edge and then every 16” on center. G = If there are pavers and an 8x8 concrete piling is needed at door jamb or uprights, then we will add a 5” tap con on 1 side of door jambs and both sides of uprights
