As requested,we have reviewed the project documents prepared by Neumann during the repair and installation of the new roofing system.In addition,I have reviewed the work scope and discussed the project with Neumann Construction and Roofing personnel. The work scope included: • Remove existing composite shingles • Re-flail roof sheathing to comply with Florida Building Code • Replace and repair drip edge • Replace and/or repair valley metal • Install new ridge cap shingles • Replace aluminum ridge vent • Replace flashing and install pipe jack lead • Install flashing on back of aluminum deck to roof deck • Install Tamko Heritage Rustic Hickory Asphalt Shingles The installation of flashing,metal channels,drip edge,and vents was performed in general accordance with manufacturer recommendations and Florida Building Code. Based on my review of the work scope and progress reports of the repairs/replacement work,it is my opinion that the work was-performed in general compliance with Florida Building Code. It is our opinion that the work performed under this permit has been completed and the related building permit should be closed. -H-. Unless specifically noted within this report, construction deficiencies and building code violations were beyond the scope of our work. No conclusions regarding the existence of deficiencies or code violations, not addressed within this report, should assumed and none are implied. Site and building conditions are subject to change over time due to age,environmental conditions and other factors. This report describes our observations at the time of the subject work only. The reader should make no reliance, interpretations or conclusions except for those specifically discussed herein. HCE reserves the right to review and revise the content of this report if new information is provided or based on the discovery of external conditions which may not have been subject to the work in this report.
