The mechanical ventilation calculations as required by 2017 FBC Mechanical, 6"'Edition
Chapter 401.2 for Lot 31 Tarpon Flats are designed per code and shall follow these
parameters as described as proposed in the 2017 FBC-Energy Conservation, 6th Edition
Chapter 4,not to exceed .01 x CFA+7.5 x(Number of Bedrooms+1):
Living Square Footage: 1976
Number of Bedrooms: 3 +1 =4
.01 x 1976= 19.76
4x7.5 =30
19.76+30=49.76 CFM
This method is also within compliance with the simplified 2017 FBC M1507.3.3(1) Chart
as listed below:

Del-Air designed and installed a 6" diameter fresh air ventilation intake including
mechanical damper, control, and shut off to handle code mechanical ventilation
requirement, when a residential building's envelope tests below 3ACH50.
