LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA 9 o WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, based on the i testimony and evidence, including, but not limited to the staff report, has made the following 2 determinations: 3 4 1. Atlantic Truss Company, Ltd., presented a petition fora change in zoning from the AG-1 5 (Agricultural — 1 du/acre) to the IL (Industrial, Light) Zoning District for the property 6 depicted on the attached maps as Exhibit "A" and described below. 7 3 2. On January 16, 2003, the St. Lucie County Planning and Zoning Commission held a 3 public hearing on the petition, after publishing notice at least 10 days prior to the hearing D and notifying by mail all owners of property within 500 feet of the subject property, and t recommended that the Board of County Commissioners approve a change in zoning a from the AG-1 (Agricultural —1 du/acre) to the IL (Industrial, Light) Zoning District. 3 t 3. On February 18, 2003, this Board held a public hearing on the petition, after publishing s notice at least 10 days prior to the hearing and notifying by mail all owners of property s within 500 feet of the subject property. 7 3 4. The proposed change in zoning has satisfied the requirements of Section 11.06.03 of I the St. Lucie County Land Development Code and is consistent with the goals, 3 objectives, and policies of the St. Lucie County Comprehensive Plan. 5. The proposed change in zoning is consistent with the existing and proposed use of property in the surrounding area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida: A. The proposed Change in the Zoning District Classification from the AG-1 (Agricultural 1 du/acre) to the IL (Industrial, Light) Zoning District for that property depicted on the attached maps as Exhibit "A" and described as follows: SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 34 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST. CONTAINING 13.05 ACRES, MORE OR LESS. (Tax ID#: 1336-231-0001-000/2) (Location: East side of North Kings Highway, approximately /a mile south of St. Lucie Boulevard) owned by Philip C. Gates, is hereby approved. B. The St. Lucie County Community Development Director is hereby authorized and directed to cause the change to be made on the Official Zoning Map of St. Lucie County, Florida, and to make notation of reference to the date of adoption of this resolution.
