project are amended in the following particulars. All provisions of the original drawings and/or
specifications shall remain in force, except as specifically modified or changed herein or by other
Addenda issued by the Architect. This Addendum is hereby made part of the Contract
Documents, and Contractors are required to coordinate all of these Addendum items throughout
all other inter -related elements of the Contract Documents, whether specifically shown by
Addendum or not. Addendum items supercede requirements of previously issued documents
and inter -related elements of the project, unless noted otherwise.
Receipt of this Addendum shall be acknowledged on the Bid Form.
Please insert this Addendum into the Contract Documents.

(6) Are windows impact resistant? Are shutters required?
(7) What manufacturer is standard for wood doors?
(8) Hardware requirements are called to be in Spec Section 08710. Not issued.
(9) Alternate #1 appears to be signage. Are details available?
(10) HVAC drawing appears to show three (3) AHU's. Only two (2) are scheduled. Does the
classroom #115 have a third unit?

Addendum One calls for ceramic tile to 4 ft AFF. Dwg shows 4 in. base in toilets & 7 ft
walls in showers. Schedule shows CT base to 4 ft AFF. Are the toilet rooms a 4 ft
wainscot? The Showers 7 ft walls?
7/S201 shows 20 ga. studs with 18 ga. blocking is this correct? Will this meet wind load?
Will existing trusses take the imposed loading of the new trusses? Including uplift?
Permit and impact fees, Can these be an allowance?
Builders Risk Insurance, is this by owner?

1. At the pre -bid it was indicated that the main electrical disconnect is to be replaced. Plans
call for it to remain. Which is this correct?
.2. Should a soap dispenser and towel dispenser be furnished for each sink? They are only
shown in the toilets.
3. Are there preferred model numbers or manufacturer for the toilet accessories?
4. Section 08800 Para 3.5.2 refers to a one and two year warranty. Plumbing drawing calls
for one-year warranty. Please confirm warranty term?
5. Demolition plan does not call for removal of roof over existing walkway. Doesn't this
have to be removed for truss installation_ ?
6. Drawings do not show roof ridge vent. Existing roof ridge is vented. Will new roof
ridge require continuous vent at new ridgeline?
7. I cam fend "Child Craft" for the cubbies in Sweets or The Blue Book is there another
name they deal under?
