Based on RAS-117 and F.L. #1654-R19; Table 1F-2; System Type E; System No. W-134. with a design
pressure of -52.5 psf; Appendix l; page 22 of 45, the following are our recommended base sheet fastening
requirements:
Zone 1 Field: 12" o.c. @ laps and 2 staggered rows 12" o.c.
Zone 2 Perimeter: 12" o.c. @ laps and 3 staggered rows 12" o.c.
Zone 3 Corners: 8" o.c. @ laps and 3 staggered rows 8" o.c.
Notes: Corners and perimeter area dimension shall not be less than a = 3.8'
All work shall be in compliance with the local building code product cot 1 notice of
acceptance and manufacturer specifications and Florida Building Code 2017 edition.
Wind load calculations based on ASCE 7-10 and information provided by client.
