1.NO FIRE ALARM WORK IS PERFORMED UNDER THIS PERMIT.
2.NO STRUCTURAL WORK, DESIGN CHANGES, OR ADDITIONS ARE PERFORMED UNDER THIS
PERMIT THEREFORE ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS ARE NOT PROVIDED OR REQUIRED.
a.ALL NEW WORK AND EXISTING CONSTRUCTION ARE CLEARLY IDENTIFY. DRAWINGS
ARE OF SUFFICIENT CLARITY AND QUALITY TO EFFECTIVELY CONVEY THE NATURE AND
SCOPE OF THE PROPOSED WORK.
b.THE CLASS OF REHAB IS “RENOVATION” PER CHAPTER 43, SECTION 43.4… “THE
REPLACEMENT IN KIND, STRENGTHENING OR UPGRADING OF BUILDING ELEMENTS,
MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT OR FIXTURES THAT DOES NOT RESULT IN THE
RECONFIGURATION OF THE BUILDING SPACES WITHIN”.
c.WORK UNDER THIS PERMIT MEETS THE DEFINITION FROM FBC, EXISTING AS
“ALTERATION - LEVEL 1” AND IS COVERED BY THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 7. IAW
CHAPTER 7, THE “ALTERATIONS” MADE BY THIS PERMIT MEET THE STANDARDS OF
CONFORMANCE FOR ALL AREA WORK.
3.NO NEW DESIGN FEATURES OR ENGINEERING CHANGES ARE MADE UNDER THIS PERMIT.
ELECTRICAL DRAWING IS BASED SOLELY ON THE SCOPE OF THE WORK TO BE PERFORMED;
ALL WORK IS DIRECT REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING COMPONENTS.
4.ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS FOR THE ELEVATOR CAB LIGHTING, PIT LIGHTING, MACHINE ROOM
(MR) LIGHTING AND MR GFCI CIRCUITS ARE ALL PRE-EXISTING CIRCUITS VERIFIED TO BE
POWERED FROM SEPARATE SOURCES. REPLACEMENT OF THESE COMPONENTS AND
FIXTURE ARE ALL DIRECT REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING EQUIPMENT; NO NEW CIRCUITS
ADDED IN THIS PROJECT.
