To whom it may concern:
Please accept the following responses to plan review comments dated November 25. 2013.
1. A separate review and permit is required for the installation or alteration of the fire
sprinkler, fire alarm, and fixed fire protection systems.
Response: Will comply.
2. This occupancy requires a voice evacuation fire alarm system if not currently installed.
Response: A voice evacuation fire alarm system will be installed under a separate
permit. A note has been added to sheet A-1.
3. This occupancy requires panic hardware devices on all exit doors if not currently
installed.
Response: Notes have been added at all exit doors indicating existing panic
hardware or requirement for new.
4. Emergency lighting is required in the front dining room, however lighting is not indicated.
Response: Existing emergency lighting has been indicated on the revised life
safety plan.
5. The door opening into the existing exit corridor shall be equipped with a self -closing
device if not currently installed.
Response: After further review of existing condition, this door actually does not
exist. Door has been removed from plans. Please see revised sheet A-1.
