The indoor air handling unit is an existing Carrier model FB4CNF060T00ADAA, rated at 5 tons, and the outdoor condensing unit which is being replaced is an Arcoaire model R4A460GK rated at 5 tons. Upon review of the replacement condensing unit specifications and installation instructions in conjunction with the existing air handler specifications and installation instructions, the replacement condensing unit is an acceptable match -up for cooling capacity and inter -operability with the existing indoor air handling unit (with proper manufacturer recommended expansion device). The replacement condensing unit shall be installed per manufacturer's instructions; connection to existing air handler shall follow manufacturer's instructions for connection to new unit. Manufacturer's installation instructions shall be available on -site during inspection. The new condensing unit shall provide the minimum system efficiency as per table C403.2.3(1) of the 2017, 6` Edition FBC Energy Conservation Code.
