Pierce, FL 34981 q'5 (772) 464-8160; (772) 464-0360 (fax) www.drawdybrothers.com November 30, 2005 To whom this may concern: This letter is in regards to a added footer that I put in my slab due to a revision that I am anticipating having in my hands in a couple of weeks. There is a footer that runs from the front of the house to the back of the house (north and south) that is not shown on the plans. This footer is 20 inches wide by at least 18 inches deep with 2 - #5 bars running continuous. This is for an anticipated b inch load bearing framed wall that I would like to put in. This is so that I will not have to put in such a sizeable and expensive girder that the plans show and also so I do not have such a big deflection in my ceiling when I am finished with my house. There is already 2 load bearing walls at the front entry and it shows a 18 inch wide x 18 inch deep footer and it was approved by the County, so I think I should be ok with the footer that I have shown at this location since these 2 load bearing walls have a little smaller footer than what I am. actually installing.. IF the revision does not go through well I guess I just wasted some concrete, but if it does at least I already have the footer already in and do not have to cut the slab out to install this footer. I know this should have been taken care of earlier, but the problem that I have and the reason the revision has not been submitted yet was due to the fact the engineer that signed off on permitted set of plans died 2 weeks ago and my architect is trying to hire on with a new engineer and pass it by the building department. Please if you have`any questions regarding this footer, please call me so I can better explain it to you in ;case I have confused you with the letter above at 772 216 3327.
