Re Oceana South II Units 201 &.202
To Whom it;may concern,.
Please be advised.that from.our standpoint the Oceana South II Association has approved the
purchase of unit 202 by current and"longtime residents Linda and Robert Pollick of unit 201.
We have also from our perspective;but pending a St Lucie building:permit, approved the
addition of an,entryway opening between what are currently, considered the master bedrooms
n each:unit.
These approvals are based on the Pollick's agreement of being the prunary residents of what
will"now be considered.one unit and needing the additional space.for medical reasons:due to
Robert Pollick's physical=handicaps,; The decision was also based on formal review and
feedback from Mathers Engineering that the wall in question is:not.load.bearing.and the
addition of this opening will.not.create or cause any structurah`issues or other issues
detrimental to the e:condominium building,:
The Association appreciates your help;in this matter. Please feel-free to contact-the manage{ if
you.have any questions., Oceana South office.is open Monday—Friday 8:3 OAM—3:O:OPM or'

RE: Units 201 and 202 of Oceana South H Condominium
Dear Board:
On behalf of the Association and at your request,we have reviewed the request on joining the two
end units with an interior access door between the 2 adjacent bedrooms. The following are our
comments:
• The installation of the archway in the party wall between Units 201 and 202 will not create
or cause any structural issues to the building if it takes place outside of the location of the
concrete columns embedded inside of the party wall. See attached detail on Sheet S4 of 10.
• The existing party wall is listed in the original buildings plans to be a 1-hour fire separation
wall. See attached detail 11 of Sheet AR of 13.
• Under the 2017 Florida Building Codes(6th Edition), as originally constructed,Units 201
and 202 are currently two individual occupancies isolated by a tenant separation wall. The
unit owner will need to file for a building permit for this modification to the party wall
whereby the building department will perform a full compliance review under the current
Florida Building Codes, as well as review by the fire department.
Sincerely,
 f
