Construction shall follow Florida Building Code as adopted by the County or City in which the building is to be constructed with all applicable amendments. 2. The Contractor , Subcontractor , Supplier , Etc shall verify all dimensions , conditions at the jobsite plans and Specifications. 3. All written dimensions on these drawings take precedence over scaled dimensions 4. Structural features not detailed on these plans will be addressed by the engineer as construction progresses. STRUCTURAL NOTES 1, Design Loads: Roof (DL+LL)= 50 PSF Wind Velocity- 163 MPH Supporting Structure (Fastest Mile) 2. Soil Bearing Capacity 2500 PSF with Compaction Test Result of more than 95%. 2a.Soi1 density shall be in compliance with R401 of 2017 Florida Residential Building Code 3. All Structure Concrete and Grout shall have a minimum compressive Strength of 3000 PSI at 28 days . 4. Slab/Footings to be concrete with minimum compressive Strength of 2500 PSI at 28 days . See plans for size and steel requirements. 5. Minimum Concrete protection for reinforcement Bars: Beams: 1 1/2 " Footings: 3" 6. Lap all reinforcing Steel a minimum of 48 bar diameters. 7. All Standard Lumber shall be SPF , or stud grade with minimum Fb=1200 PSI or better. 8. All lumber in contact with concrete or masonry shall be Pressure Treated. 9, Splitting or cracking of structural components due to installation of hardware is not permitted. 10. Unless conformotherwise to the manufacturersinstallation ctions specified hardware shall standards. 11. Bearings points of °-h--eaders, girders and beams shall have vertical supports sufficient to support loads and shall be properly anchored for uplift as will be noted. 12. Roof Sheathing to be nailed with 8d Galy. nails or equal, 6" O.C. 13. Unless otherwise noted for exterior walls, exterior plywood walls is to be nailed with 10d nails or sheathing and interior dry 8 O.C. Filled Drywall screwsr 1.5" long better , 6" O.C. edges and and .131" in diameter. 14. Ftoprchords or installation alongblock thewith edge2of plywood directly below the vent. 15. For Frame Segment to masonry segment connections use PT vertical secured to masonry with 3/16" dia. lag screws 3/4" embedment to 3000# concrete min 18" O.C. 16. WALLS: The double top plate (butt splices) shall resist 4000lb/splice -All wall top plates shall be lapped a min. of 24" C splices w/ 7-16d nails min. lap center 1/3 of wall shall be 4' w/9-16d nails. 17. At Gable, provide 2x4 full blocking to the trusses for the first two truss spacing, spaced at 4' O.C. nailing shall be 4" O.C. at first truss. 18. Apply Plywood roof sheathing face grain perpendicular to supports. 19. All roof covering shall be applied per manufacturers recommendations or per FBC and local codes whichever is more strenuous.
