All work to be performed by Allen May as Owner/Builder.
To replace a deteriorated four -foot by five-foot front entry porch to a one-story manufactured home.
Work to include:
-Demolition and disposal of existing porch and steps.
-Two new 12" diameter, 30" deep 2,500 psi poured concrete footings for two 8'- 4" x 4" PT wood posts.
-One new 5'- 4" x 4" PT wood post mounted to existing 4"concrete slab adjacent to house at the north west comer of the
deck and attached with Simpson Strong Tie retrofit base PPB44-4Z.
-One new 2'- 4" x 4" PT wood post mounted to existing 4"concrete slab adjacent to house at the north east comer of the
deck and attached with Simpson Strong Tie retrofit base PPB44-4Z.
-Installing 4 PT 2" x 10" wood joists attached with Simpson Strong Tie galvanized Joist Hangers Angles ML 282.
-4 PT 2" x 12" stringers for the stairs attached to existing concrete slab yvith Simpson Strong Tie Base to the existing
concrete slab and to the PT 2" x 10" wood joist with Simpson Strong Tie adjustable stringer connector LSC,
-Install Trex Clamshell composite flooring 1" x 5.5" attached with stainless steel hidden deck fasteners on all flooring for
deck and stairs.
-Install handrails as per Deckorators Classic Railing System with post covers, approved for. FBC requirements.
Attachments as per manufacturer's recommendations.
