Creswell, P.E. To Whom It May Concern, Green Design Construction and Development (GDCD) has been retained to evaluate the design pressures that should be used for a window installed as part of permit number 2005-0654. We visited the site on 08/31/2020 and took measurements of the exterior of the house and of the window. We also met with the homeowners, who provided information regarding the window type used in the installation. Based on the measurements taken, the 74" wide by 39" high window are calculated to receive pressures of +29.9 PSF and — 32.9 PSF based on a 170 mph ultimate wind speed, Risk Category II, Exposure C and an enclosed building. The homeowner produced paperwork that was attached to the permit that the window installed is a JeldWen Horizontal Sliding Window (4200) with a design pressure rating of+/- 50 PSF. The window product approval number is FL# 10947.1. It should be noted that this window exceeds the calculated design pressures and is approved provided that the window is installed per the manufacturer's instructions. HOWEVER, the window is non -impact rated and since this is a wind-borne debris region, the window must be protected with shutters meeting the Large Missile Test or %:" plywood conforming to FBC R301.2.1.2 "Exception." Please feel free to call if you have any further questions or concerns. Regards, John H.
