Date: May 7, 2020 Re:Orange Avenue RV Storage Review of Trip Generation Statement Kimley-Horn has reviewed the trip generation statement (dated April 30, 2020) prepared by O’Rourke Engineering & Planning related to the above-mentioned project. The proposed project is generally located on Orange Avenue in St. Lucie County and will be completed in two phases, with Phase 1 consisting of 300 RV unit storage spaces. The trip generation statement only considers Phase 1 impact fees for the development. Please find below comments pertaining to the development’s impact fee calculations. 1.The methodology provided by the applicant appears reasonable. 2.The resultant impact fee rate, as calculated by the applicant, is $4,500 per peak hour trip. Based on this rate and the peak hour trip estimate provided by the applicant, the resultant impact fee for Phase 1 would be 3 peak hour trips x $4,500 per peak hour trip = $13,500. 3.Phase 2 impact fees will need to be calculated at a later date when that phase is submitted. Thank you for the opportunity to assist St. Lucie County in reviewing this project. Please contact us if you have any questions or need additional information.
