A minimum 1/4 in.thick layer of"Invinsa® FR"can be used in lieu of"Invinsa®"in any existing non-combustible roof deck Classification.This can be
above or below additional insulation layers described in the Certified roofing system.The resulting roofing assembly can be used over a combustible roof
deck(minimum 15/32-in.thick plywood).All insulation joints must be staggered a minimum of 6-in.from the roof deckjoints and from the insulation
joints directly below.The maximum incline shall be in accordance with the Certification established for the original roofing system as published on UL's
Product iQ'"database for the Classifications published under the product category of Roofing Systems(TGFU);however the incline cannot exceed 3:12.

Board"may be used in any existing noncombustible roof deck Classification.When this is done,the resulting roofing system is acceptable for use over
combustible(15/32 in.thick minimum)roof decks.Thejoints in the board or overlayment board are offset 6 in.with thejoints in the deck.If polystyrene
insulation is used in the existing noncombustible roof deck Classification,it must be placed beneath the gypsum board or"DensDeck® Roofboard"or
"DensDeck Prime® Roofboard"or"DensDeck DuraGuardTm Roofboard".
Minimum 2-in.thick unfaced structural cement fiber units,formed into slabs or boards and covered under Structural Cement-Fiber Units(CIYT),are
suitable alternates as roof decks for all certified roofing systems intended for use over noncombustible decks.
"DuraFoam"may be used in lieu of"Fesco-Foam"applicable Classifications.
"Fesco HD"is a suitable alternate to"Duraboard"in any applicable Classification.
"RetroPlus"is an acceptable alternate to"Retro-Fit"or"ENRGY 38"in any applicable Classification."RetroPlus"may be placed over"ENRGY 30"in any
applicable Classification.

Base sheets and ply sheets may be adhered with hot asphalt(15 to 25-Ibs/100-ft.2)or"BUR Adhesive",applied at 1 to 2-gal/100-ft.Z unless otherwise
specified adhesive may be applied by brush,roller,notched squeegee or spray equipment.
Vapor barriers or ply sheets are optional beneath roof insulation on all systems.
Unless otherwise indicated,minimum 7/16-in.thick non-veneer APA rated oriented strand board may be substituted for wood fiberboard in the following
systems.
Unless otherwise indicated,wood fiberboard or"RetroPlus"may be substituted for polyisocyanu rate insulation in any of the following non-combustible

Two plies of any Type G1 base sheet is an acceptable alternate to one ply of Type G2 ply sheet in any Classification.
