After discussing the missing vapor barrier inspection with Doug Harvey, I am writing this letter to attest that
a vapor barrier was in fact installed on the gable at the entrance of this house. The small gable took less than
a half of a sheet of paperback lath. It is about 4 ft in length and from 0 inches to 12 inches in the middle. It
was lathed before the inspector saw the vapor barrier. The inspector did see the lath installed. With the rough
weather that was going on at the time it was also stuccoed before the plasterers could be stopped. I apologize
for this incident and I thank the Building Dept. for its understanding of this issue.
